No country would accept a rule that restricts the number of their citizens who can work in any business. You could only have a rule that restricts imports like the CFL does. Imports in the US would be any non-American, thus rosters that are entirely American.

There's not really a scenario where a 10th team grows revenue enough to positively impact existing teams aside from an exorbitant expansion fee that someone owning a team in a tiny market probably wouldn't be willing to pay. Even if tv viewership in the maritimes went up significantly you're talking tens of thousands more eyeballs not a million. The happiest person would be the schedule maker.

To me this is absurd and shows that Ambrosie might be a bit out of touch, a big idea guy more than an effective leader and manager. Sure grow the game. That has to be priority for a commissioner. At this point you have 3 major markets struggling pretty badly (Toronto, BC, Montreal). This is not a time for expansion and all that comes with it. There's a lot of growth that needs to happen in existing markets. On top of that, expansion to the maritimes is even more absurd. No venue, no owner, teeny tiny markets, little interest. They shouldn't spend 5 seconds on this until a legitimate owner/government steps up with a legitimate stadium proposal and a bond to operate a team, in any potential market.

Let’s be completely honest here. Our offense has regressed to where it was early in the season where for long stretches of the game even driving by putting together 3-4 first downs together doesn’t happen. Injuries need to be overcome. Lapo and Nichols both have to give new receivers trust to make some plays (as they did on the final drive to set up the kick. That the Argos didn’t put 40 on us at least is huge given the hibernating O. The D came to play. FFS though Loffler and Walker need to wrap tackles.

Worst part is we have no one that really profiles to play that boundary WR spot at anywhere near Adams level. Washington is softer than a melted stick of butter. I wouldn’t mind seeing Wolitarsky taking some reps at boundary WR.

I think Knox future in pro football is probably as a defensive end if he gets a shot. Certainly can’t read the play well enough to play off the line.
