  1. Basically the entire offense is back. We have a bunch of young Canadians at receiver who took a step last year and will take another one. I'm sure they'll add a couple imports. Don't fret about interior OL. This is year 2 of all-in.
  2. When was Sask ever a premier free agent destination? Cannot recall in my lifetime a player the caliber of BLM or Reilly signing there. They’ve always been picking QB’s from the middle tier and below.
  3. Ackie has safety experience too. He’d be one of the better fits for the multiple D Hall runs.
  4. I don’t think we necessarily need a free agent WIL, but there’s a lot of second-tier free agents that would fit good here at DT and WIL.
  5. Two birds stoned at once.
  6. That’s three times the average salary, potentially a bit less depending on where the cap ends up. Maybe if he played tackle. There’s lots of guys who can play interior. Once you start paying a bunch of guys those kinds of numbers your depth takes a huuuge hit and if that guy tears a bicep in TC you can’t replace him even with his salary not counting on the cap because you still have to pay him. You can basically have a QB and 2-3 guys paid at that level. Chungh is a good guard but he’d have to be 100% perfect guard to command that money. Our guys are Bighill, Harris, Bryant, maybe one more.
  7. Look at the rest of their OL. They have money.
  8. Alexander can play anywhere and I wouldn't be shocked if he replaces Randle on the boundary.
  9. 4 picks in first 23. We've had decent luck in the middle rounds too. Hamilton has 5 picks in the first 22. BC doesn't pick until 24th.
  10. If you ever wanted to know if tampering was alive and well, just look at all the signings the day or two before free agency opens. The agents know exactly what each player is going to get offered when the gun goes off.
  11. Sorry, that was for all picks. We'll probably have at least 3 on our roster.
  12. Need about 2 receivers, a DT and 3 DB's with CFL experience IMO to start with. I expect they will add an experienced OL as well to compete for an interior spot or 6th role. Assuming no moves are made involving the Bombers vets under contract, a pretty safe assumption, the Bombers have about $1.5 million in wiggle room to add in free agency, assuming signing two first round picks (likely to cost $250,000-$300,000).
  13. There's a lot of junk DE's on the market. Many will be available in a couple months for quite cheap. Leonard is part of that group.
  14. Interested to see where Demski ends up. Inconsistent but still a NI who put up 800 yards from scrimmage.
  15. Last spring we visited my in-laws in Mesa. It was in the low 20's everyday and sunny. We had the gated community pool to ourselves. Our nicest mild summer days are basically winter to them.
  16. All the snowbirds I know around Phoenix would rather donate a kidney than drive to Tempe to sit outside in 60 degree weather.
  17. Everyone has a lot of money to spend. Most teams are going into free agency with about half of a roster. Ottawa and Winnipeg have far few roster spots open with far more starters returning. BC is on the extreme opposite end. It also isn't a hard cap so everyone has almost endless opportunity to maneuver .
  18. I think we need more of a slot type. Posey and Adams would be redundant.
  19. More than half of BC's roster are free agents. They have a lot to spend.
  20. Only if the Bombers went against the league directive on off-season bonuses before the CBA is settled.
  21. Truly terrible. They might want to force teams to blitz now since their QBs can’t hit any windows in coverage. In the highlights all the passing plays they showed were tremendous catches by the receivers.
  22. Based on what? I don’t think you’ll see more than an insignificant increase, like 2-3% at most.
  23. It might but have to factor in that signing one of those guys means you essentially have to play rookies in 4 other spots on your roster since they will make about $300,000 more than Nichols. If Calgary drops out of BLM sweepstakes you know it’s not worth it.
  24. What kind of psychedelics did they put in their tea to come up with this ****? 28 yard line? Are they sure it should be 10 yards for a first down? Maybe it should be 7.33.
