RedBlacks @ Riders
He might make that strip 1 out of a 100 attempts in that situation against a pro RB running to daylight. That was a really stupid risk to take.

Gainey could have had Powell down at the 40.

If the Bombers spot him 17 points.
-
RedBlacks @ Riders
Wow. Gainey goes for the strip instead of making the tackle.
-
RedBlacks @ Riders
Which still doesn't make any sense because whether a player is a QB or a runner you can't pick him up and drop him when he doesn't even have the ball.

Hard to say refs don't have influence on the outcome of these games. Sask has a TD and a safety just from brutal non-calls on an obvious illegal block and RTP. A 2 point lead that should be a 2 possession lead.

Hughes got away with a really late form tackle on Harris way after the ball was out.

Stampeders @ Tiger Cats
Who is our receivers coach? Is it the same guy who couldn't figure out how to use Adarius Bowman in 2010, cut him and then got to watch him be one of the top receivers in the CFL for the next 5 years, most of that working for TSN? The only guy we've kept for more than one season in that PR/fringe player role is Lankford. I'm not sure Calgary is any better at bringing guys up or in who they choose to bring to camp beyond the obvious ones like Daniels, but they sure as hell are better at developing receivers and giving guys time to develop.

The head is a part of the body too. The facemask. It's not that difficult.
-
Stampeders @ Tiger Cats
What I'm saying is grabbing the hair shouldn't be an automatic penalty like grabbing the facemask is, but the pull should be a penalty for rough play, especially when it's that blatant in the open field on a guy running full speed.
-
Stampeders @ Tiger Cats
Any other pulling motion on a guy from behind is a penalty now. The pull is the issue, not grabbing a guy by the hair. That wasn't a tackle either. A tackle is a stick and a wrap, torso to torso. That was a grab and a pull. If they focused more on enforcing the rules on legal tackling and requiring form tackles using proper technique injuries would go way down.

Hajrullahu still making rookie mistakes.

Lucky the guy didn't snap his fibula. If a horsecollar pulling a guy backwards is illegal that should be too.

Crossover Standings after Week 13
Those, along with turnovers, are the important stats. Points obviously are what counts at the end of the day, but 7 points on a 27 yard drive after big D stop and Demski return count the same as 7 scored on a 90 yard drive that takes 6 minutes. The impact on the game is very different. How many of those drives have we had? We score on short fields....sometimes. If we lose field position, we get killed. If our offense and special teams are dominant we can have a game against a good team and still lose in a disappointing fashion as our offense both gives points away and leaves a bunch on the field with turnovers and inefficiency, sometimes on the same drive. Our offense has been next to useless all season. They can't even consistently put together 2-3 first downs a possession, at least against anyone but the Argos and Als.

Bombers Management: Proactive, Reactive, Passive or Delusional - Streveler
How can you guys say Loffler should have been replaced? You guys loved Loffler until this season. I told you he was crap last year and he was defended like crazy. You can't be on both sides of that. Love a guy in the off-season and then halfway through the season he should have been replaced when you were loving him.

The Role of a CFL Head Coach
Ralph was meant to be a starter. He was here for half a season before Arthur was acquired, and Arthur was injured, not going to be available until 2010.

Whatever Happened To....
Teams got good at pulling fakes and now most punt returns happen with the D on the field.

Around the League: 2018 Season
I can't believe they got a 3rd rounder for Jackson. TBH I think he was about to be cut the week the Argos activated McCluster and then McCluster got injured and Jackson got back on the roster.

Bleh...guy who fumbles and makes boneheaded decisions multiple times a game. He can't make enough big plays to make up for the stupidity. Lankford with more games under his belt.

So can we start talking about firing MOS yet?
Hufnagel Jr is the guy everyone is after but thought is that Calgary’s GM job is already his when dad retires.

Nelson’s been available every year for the last 30 other than the 4 seasons he’s been a DC in his life.

Matt Nichols -BOO!!!!!!!
And scored a TD. Plus set up 2 offensive TDs on short fields after a 2 and out deep in Rider end and the forced fumble by Hecht. It’s almost unbelievable they could lose that game with how the D played.

So can we start talking about firing MOS yet?
And yet they didn't give up a TD that entire game and gave the offense two drives in the final two minutes. Your expectations might be a bit out of whack or maybe you're so biased against Hall you can't give a fair evaluation.

Demski catches 70% of his targets. Wolitarsky catches 70% of his targets. Thompkins catches 70% of his targets. Petermann catches 61% of his targets. Dressler catches 60% of his targets. Adams catches 50% of his targets (most targets 81, and only Bomber receiver averaging over 15 yards per attempted pass). Bowman caught 50% of his targets as a Bomber this season. Washington catches 40% of his targets. Facts.

Who do you think pays coordinators more? I mean Sask has a staff of 20 of Jones' Tennessee buddies and some CFL vets he worked with like McAdoo, but who is getting paid more?
