Challenge for PI there. Grabs on and makes contact long before he locates ball.

Peterson is an amazing zone runner. You see him run to the spot even though there's a pile up there and make the cut when he gets there. Other guys would cut immediately away from where they see the bodies and they would not get much.

Bridges has to realize he needs to just hammer Cottoy there once the ball has been touched downfield.

I don't mind doing the drop 9 stuff...but you gotta have some pressures dialed up too. Ones that will be unexpected. We have no one at end who is able to generate pressure. Jefferson is disruptive in his unique way, but it's also really easy to avoid for an offense.

Not sure why we're having Vaughters stand in a 2 point in the B gap and just get crushed in 3 man fronts. No pressure, no gap control. Need someone who can get off the line.

He's on pace for 900 yards passing in this game. But just ok.

Hand was on outside of shoulder pad and he drove through. If he stopped his feet it would have been a hold. Ref maybe anticipated a bit on that.

Pretty marginal hold. He drives the guy down. Hands are inside and on shoulder pad driving him down. Clercius has good position and keeps his feet driving. Basically a textbook open field block in a situation like that. You are allowed to put hands on defenders.

Would have preferred Wilson stay on the wedge plays.

Argos OL is in shambles. Vandal is terrible. Hunter looked really uncomfortable on the left side last night. The middle 3 were getting caved pass or run.

Maybe that organization treating basically everyone but DaVaris Daniels and Chad Kelly as expendable coming home to roost. He doesn't even need to get hit. The majority of his injuries are severe joint injuries non-contact. He's blown ACL, achilles, broken leg and MRSA infection in the leg from the Marino hit. Kind of a ticking time bomb from the waist down.

This is ******* insane. The game was over before he moved the ball at all. If you can only play well when you're down 20 points what's the point? 4-14 every year.

Rider fans wanted to cut that guy.

Why aren't they challenging for RTP? Way more likely to get that call than DPI.

For most position units I agree with him. You can't put someone out there really anywhere on D who doesn't have some special teams capability aside from the interior DL. You can't have constant breakdowns on special teams because field position is absolutely huge up here, and you can't just avoid covering by punting out of bounds with the penalties now. But OL is so much more crucial than anything but QB for scoring points which is the way you win games. If you don't have an offense that can put up 24-28 points your chances of winning in this league in June/July/August are almost nil. I know he believes that and there are subs there mostly for what they do on special teams. But you always, always, always dress the best OL you have available and go from there. I'd play all Canadian receivers or DL and all American OL if that made the best OL we had available for the next game on the schedule. And we know that Vanterpool was an absolute weapon out there at LG last week. There's really no reason to take a unit that is an absolute strength and take probably the best guy on it last week out.

I don't know how that Sask guy got away with the low block. Only guys lined up inside the tackles can throw those.

He's regressed badly in the past couple years. Doesn't trust his arm as much as the system they've designed requires. They use almost no RPO which should be core of any system built around Ford. He's gotta be on the move and you need to help him get time to pass (not just in terms of the rush but the coverage) by putting the defense off-balance with threat of run, QB run and pass on almost every snap. He's not going to pinpoint intermediate passes into coverage for receivers, need to create space downfield for him by stopping feet with run threats. I actually thought last year when he came in that he looked a lot like he was on the way to being a competent passer. He did alright vs us and we have a very tough D on QB's. But that offense in general last year was best in the league in the last 2/3 of the season.

Maybe Bailey isn’t good. He didn’t exactly jump off the page to me in the preseason games and he’s in one of the easiest positions to do that even with poor camera angles. He has a bit of an advantage to stick around being Global but maybe he’s not very useful on special teams either. Maybe he’s Big Sky’s Faith Ekakitie.
