McDuffie costs us field position far too often by letting the ball hit the turf. He doesn't make up for that with great returns either. Personally I'd try to find a better receiver to take a DI spot or promote Flanders to return kickoffs and give Harris some snaps on the sideline.

Doesn't really need to be called IMO. Inconsequential to the play and nothing really with intent behind it, hand in wrong place. Ref easily could have easily let Green know he saw it and that he can't do that.

Much prefer Fogg to McDuffie. Catches the punts effortlessly and protects the ball. Should have 2 TD's in basically 2 games returning, both brought back for marginal (being generous) calls once he was already gone.

Bottom line, it's outright cheating a basic league rule. $15,000 isn't enough. Money isn't enough unless it's absurd like $1 million. Punish them with roster spots. Knock them down 2 DI's and make them play with extra Canadians. -
His movement looks extremely laboured. I doubt his body holds up, mostly his lower body with that awful broken leg he's taken 3 years to come back from.

Harris is really struggling. He's trying to do too much, maybe trying to be the saviour. The OL was really bad too run blocking, but especially after the shift when Hardrick went out. As you saw, running stretch plays when your interior guys aren't firing off the line leads to big losses.

Even if it starts the first sign of lightning within 50 km brings it to a screeching halt. -

Hardly a punishment. Make them play short a DI in their next game. -

90 minutes should be a cancellation. Can't expect people to hang around. It's 90 minutes and reevaluate according to Lazuruk. Dumb. These delays are getting way out of hand. I can see the stadium from where I'm at and there's been one nearby lightning strike in the last hour. -
Milanovich/Brady probably more to do with it than Ray.

Not sure anyone wants to claim Gale yet...he looks pretty pedestrian.

Hajrullahu was a pending free agent. Didn't seem like he was all that interested in being here either. -
Glad a guy like Denmark was literally sitting in Winnipeg waiting for a call. I know I'm in the minority but I'm really not a fan of McDuffie as a receiver and kind of lukewarm on him as a returner too. He's got potential to make big plays, but he kinda sucks at the basics and that's a little dangerous.

I don't find many WIL or MAC LBs too impactful on the game now. Literally nobody runs the ball more than a handful of times a game. Better have a guy who can rush the passer and be smart in zone coverage. -
Wiecek should be covering pro wrestling. No credibility on Bombers or Jets.

They made a conscious decision to dress an extra import DL and bench Hubbard. Killed Edmonton at the line of scrimmage, probably the difference in the game. But keep stretching to fit the narrative. Find it hard to believe that O'Shea is making roster decisions based on his job security. Find it more likely that he's making decisions based on what he thinks is best for winning.

When has a 2 QB system worked recently? I mean like guys sharing reps in the same game and not due to injury. I think the level of preparation now is such that you can't really pull it off unless you have like an aged Dickenson or someone like that who can just step on the field and play. Unless you find two carbon copies with the same skill sets.

I really like Loffler. To me he's more of a SAM/WIL type. Kinda scared about his ability to cover ground if he's playing a deep half/third/quarter for most of the game. Love him in the box and blitzing. Kind of a glut of players like that, Canadians. Loffler, Waggoner, Sherman. Solid role players, none of those guys have the skills to play safety in the CFL IMO.

If a OL can't execute a dive you expect them to be able to sustain blocks to allow a back to get to 4-5-6-7 holes and beyond? Better hope someone on the defense trips over their own feet.

Nichols outplayed Willy? 10% lower completion percentage, less yards per completion, sacked more often. You'd have to stretch pretty hard to put forth an objective argument that fits that narrative. Short TD drive was nice, but basically nothing else from Nichols. QB is down the list of problems with this offense. Basic blocking just doesn't exist, play calling stinks and guys are playing roles they don't fit (the 5'4 guy on fades). This TEAM stinks.

Maybe the same group of OL who struggled with basic pass protection and getting on a body last year are the quackers.

To me it all comes down to the line of scrimmage. Walters needed to improve our team at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Pretty much all that was done to make this team functional was adding Cummings. Shologan is an average player, not a good player and far from a difference maker. Our offensive line is an embarrassment. Poor technically and can't even hold its own physically. Getting their asses kicked week after week again, just like the last two seasons, but probably even worse. If you want to win you need to be able to set the tone at the line of scrimmage. Sure it might not happen every week, but with this crew it's not even a possibility. You can have an all-star RB, SB, a good QB, three good QB's, a good set of LB's....doesn't matter if you get your ass kicked repeatedly at the line of scrimmage. Work the ratio how ever you need to as to avoid getting physically dominated at the line. This is beyond embarrassing.
