He's a QB. He's a good one, he's getting legit NFL look. I think more potential than K Rourke, Rourke higher floor. The issue is, is he a CFL starter in the next 2-3 years? Or do you just end up developing him to go sign and play for the Argos if he does develop? And, there's so many American QB's when playing a Canadian one doesn't necessarily help the ratio that much. They are seriously putting the draft behind TSN+ and the CFL.ca tracker is frozen on Edmonton's 2nd round pick?

Probably sit on the practice roster if he's not in the NFL. The last 3 and arguably Streveler at this point are all expendable. Like they are fighting to stay in pro football.

Anthony Bennett. The two LB's and Elgersma are exceptional players. I would have liked to see us grab a receiver here, actually the guy Elgersma chucked the ball to, Ethan Jordan. Maybe we'll still get him.

Think of how many reps Gauthier has been taking on D over the years, even last year. Nice to have a training camp to get the team ready to play and see how it all fits.

If the draft picks are ready to play D can also open up a spot for another American DL and could open up availability to start 3 American OL without having to plug in another Canadian receiver necessarily.

Whoever determined we need to review the last 5 years of 2nd round picks for every team should be taken behind the studio and shot.

BC is crazy to pass on Jackson Findlay IMO. Two of the three Canadians they regularly had to use in their secondary last year didn't belong on the field on D at all.

Newell just seems obvious to me but maybe this is a run on OL. Fortin or Anderson.

There's tons of DL in this one. I don't believe they'll take one in the first couple rounds unless Newell drops to 6. But there's tons of guys that will be CFL players, both Nose and 3 technique/end tweener types.

Hopefully they know that Bailey is looking to play in Canada. His resume would look fine as an American player. Lots of production, good testing numbers. Hopefully he can be a rotational piece off the edge. We've really missed having a nice rotation on the edge the past couple years.

First round might be completed by the time the late NHL game starts.
