  1. Win the next 3 we're all alone in first place.
  2. Complete head shot on the INT.
  3. WTF are the Argos doing
  4. Camera angles to make you puke like the CNE. That coverage was not disguised at all...crazy stupid throw by Harris right to Argos CB.
  5. Hamilton's got like 3 guys who could be MODP candidates and a bunch of nothing on D.
  6. They run him lots as that TE on the line which backs off the D a bit since the other receivers play side get a run at the line. Then he just goes right up the seam, keeps going if no one over top or sits between zones if there is a deep middle cover.
  7. Collaros hasn't slept this week if that's any indication.
  8. Johnson subs out any time they go with the 6 OL max protect look or heavy run formation. Still think Case is that gluey kind of slot they need. If they had him and Whitehead on they'd be very complimentary to the receiving corps as a whole. Johnson has demonstrated no rapport at all with QB's on gameday which is kind of important this era where there's a ton of choice routes.
  9. Think you'll see Griffin and Kramdi both out most of the time. Gauthier will play if they use fullback/6 OL.
  10. Then the Bombers went with the 40 front and 2 LB's, put them in 2nd and 8 a couple times and they gave up on the run.
  11. If there's 9 guys in coverage it doesn't matter unless there's huge breakdowns. But they will blitz and show different fronts. It's not like he's going to have more than 3-4 seconds back there even with 3-4 rushing. If a QB is on his 3rd read after the snap he's probably already dead. They'll show a lot of different looks though in terms of where Kramdi, Alexander, Griffin both start pre-snap and end up during the play.
  12. Hamilton is about a 75/25 Pass/Run offense. I bet we run with Kramdi/Jones/Griffin set we did against BC quite often again as a primary look....basically 7 DBs, 3-4 DL, 1-2 true LB's.
  13. My opinion...they were trying to catch a wave to stop the bleeding and hopefully have the whole team riled up to the point they'd steamroll the Bombers. And in all honestly probably sell some tickets given the market. They knew with Dolegala they probably lose anyways. I don't think they needed the cap space because they could 6 game Adams. They could have signed Rourke and let him practice last week as a backup, takeover for the next game in Ottawa off a full week with 1 meeting day and 3 practices.
  14. The **** are you talking about? They had like 5 games in 2006 with Mike Toth, Marty York and Adrion Smith. It was awful.
  15. Rourke is kind of robotic though. He’s going to have to come up with a 2.0 version of his game because if you move him off the first read mostly by not giving him a true read pre-snap he’s done.
  16. Woods is a better player.
  17. Can see the Richie Hall influence coming into play with how they are using Griffin and Kramdi….lots of two high looks, and then either of those guys functioning like a dime or US style strong safety, pressuring or diagnosing. Main thing…QB can’t tell if or where pressure is coming, can’t tell what matchups he’s getting pre-snap outside of the wideouts.
  18. It’s a style of more open field running braced for contact. Not the wedge play where you just have to follow the surge of the OL and roll forward. The endless searching gaps for something vertical seems to me to be the doing too much aspect on Streveler. He should be in pistol with Oliviera 5-7 yards deep and someone jet motioning across too. You have 3 options for D to worry about plus potential for a pass. Even on 3rd and half a yard I’m doing that.
  19. And Bryant got beat bad which affected the timing and ability for Collaros to follow through.
  20. Have you guys heard of Nathan Rourke? He leads the league in incompletion rate.
  21. About the same numbers he put up for Atlanta last week.
  22. There's no use running that look if Streveler isn't comfortable with it. Will continue to be problems until they adjust. Lots you can do with him and running backs, Demski/Whitehead etc. to open up a ton of vertical gaps, use fakes and option looks.
  23. Streveler is both hesitating like crazy and way upright on those under centre plays. It's like he feels like he should try to do more than get a couple yards and then goes "oh ya, 3rd and 1"
