  1. Bailey all alone on vertical that look. Save that for later.
  2. Looked like he popped it up so hard to judge wind.
  3. They thought the game was starting 45 mins ago.
  4. **** the stadiums with the teams on the same sideline. Always.
  5. Man we should have had her flip a coin before she was appointed.
  6. That's not John Ferguson. The real John Ferguson is dead!
  7. I wonder if they have any actual data on jamming those music performances into these kind of events and if they draw any viewers. Halftime is kind of standard.
  8. To be followed by a quarterback of non-traditional beauty on the big stage.
  9. I say like the white pants after Labour Day rule you can't wear Orange after Halloween. It's only 8 weeks.
  10. Kind of choked that there's no home radio broadcasts for the Grey Cup. Can't think of any other sport in North America that does this.
  11. And both Halloween and the Lions are done.
  12. I mean Schoen can take McCrae's place pretty easy based on last week but a little more worrisome if Bighill can't really play.
  13. They spend way too much time on promos for this broadcast.
  14. Lapo just got whooshed there.
  15. A guy who has eaten more than his share of humble pie but not received the message. Playaction shouldn't mean much because we shouldn't be rushing more than 3-4 most of the game like we did to VA.
  16. Yeah he is freelance though since layoffs in Edmonton.
  17. Edmonton going private is such a bad news story. The two most successful franchises in this league run on a community-ownership model. All the private operators struggle mightily, and always have.
  18. Economically this makes no sense. And championship football is played under the lights. Telling on Beirness that for the division finals and Grey Cup they bring in Duthie to anchor the show.
  19. BA better hope he has a few more years of football left...
  20. It'll be funny if we win as a footnote. Like in the West Final we had...an import kicker...an import returner who played no O...an import standing on the sidelines dressed in winter clothes who didn't play a snap....an import fullback who was pulled off cover teams and played 15 snaps. If someone like Jeffcoat needs out of the game it won't be funny.
  21. Schoen looked a little sketchy on entry but Bighill looked pretty normal.
  22. That’s the exact same roster as last week aside from Schoen listed GTD instead of McCrae. All those backers are dressed because that’s the core of the special teams units. No bread crumbs there on Bighill. I think they should go rush end for Bighill but will probably go Rose since he’s a vet. They got picked on pretty bad by BC when Jeffcoat was on sideline and Hansen on the field. If Jeffcoat tweaked his hip 3 plays into the game we’d be absolutely ******.
  23. You guys know that MBT has been available and actively shopping himself on both sides of the border since July, right? Nobody picked him up. Not Ottawa, not Hamilton, both down to raw rookies who were playing NCAA in 2022. Not Sask, not Calgary. I'm not sure much will change in the off-season. Nobody wants to sign him to much more than the kind of deal Dane Evans got in BC, 100k ish base and bonuses for starting, winning.
  24. Yeah and there's like 4 guys on every Power 5 roster in NCAA who fit the mold of what they are looking for. To me if a guy like Schoen can't get a shot with subpar testing numbers I'm not really sure who will.
  25. The prototype for a NFL tailback right now is sub 1.5 10 yard split, 4.4 40, explosive high 30s-40 vertical, 10-11 foot broad jump. The only spot where Oliviera is competitive is the shuttle and raw power demonstrated by bench reps. But they need guys with burst to work the wide zone stuff that works like the Niners, Dolphins etc. are killing teams with. Basically have to be fast enough to beat the pursuit angles from front 7. Despite his outstanding season I don't see his film being particularly attractive to NFL. He's hardly busted runs over 20 yards. His big thing is consistency and grinding out yards. The blocking is huge but I'm not sure they'll care if he's not going to be a ball carrier. They often convert DL types over to be blocking backs, like small OL basically.
