  1. And he can take his time doing it. He still has 2 years left on his contract with the Bears.
  2. AC credits Trestman with that resurgence and it was Trestman's offensive system that Milanovich learned from him.
  3. Boring first half but I guess that's what you get with the Wild. Good to come out with the win.
  4. So what does everyone think of the point system they are using - 3 points for win, 2 for OT win and 1 for OT loss? Should the NHL do that too so a regulation win is worth more?
  5. A happy and safe Christmas to all.
  6. Wow! Who would have imagined it would be 3-0 for the Jets with 5 minutes left in the first.
  7. You are - you usually don't admit it though.
  8. Etch was about 5th choice for O'Shea. I'm not sure who else was available at the time.
  9. He wore 14 for the Bombers. Here's what he said in the article linked above:
  10. The Winnipeg Jets are pleased to announce they will be hosting a Broadcast Viewing Party of the Teemu Selanne Tribute Night on Sunday, Jan. 11. The Jets' Broadcast Viewing Party of TSN3's coverage of the night will be held at MTS Centre, with both the ceremony and game shown on the MTS Centre centre-hung scoreclock. As part of the ceremony, it is planned that footage from the Viewing Party from Winnipeg will be shown at the Honda Center in Anaheim. MTS Centre has hosted other broadcast viewing parties, including the 2011 NHL Entry Draft and the 2010 Men's Olympic Hockey Final in Vancouver.
  11. As you know Iso the SMS jumped last season and goes up only 10% for 2015. Austin has already said they are in cap hell now. They are going to have some tough decisions.
  12. When was that said? O'Shea said the new DC will not pick any player personal going forward. I meant when was it said by the Bombers that Hall wouldn't fit the system. O'Shea said it on the coaches show. Not those exact words. He said there was no place for him in our defence. I thought O'Shea said that at a time when our d-line was playing really well and it didn't have anything to do with the system.

  15. He's injured. 680 CJOB Sports @CJOBSports #NHLJets GM Cheveldayoff tells @680CJOB Sports along with his team, @IceCapsAHL Ellerby & O'Neill out & Kichton today went down long term
  16. Who said anything about Claybrooks?!?!? Talk about pulling a name out of nowhere.Claybrooks has been mentioned on this forum several times, often facetiously, however. I didn't notice. Nevertheless, I wont be convinced he's in the running until I hear he's at least been in town to meet management. Fat chance that happens though. The tweet that was posted said that Claybrooks was recently in Winnipeg for a meeting. If that's true then he has already been here and met with management.

  18. Cause it matters so much considering it's ******* december.....smh Just goes to show the rampant dysfunction that still exists in the Bomber front office. Power struggle for a month and a half over firing a coordinator. You're assuming facts not in evidence. A couple of tweets from the media doesn't mean there was a power struggle. And just because the announcement was made today doesn't mean the decision wasn't made some time ago. In case you didn't hear, DeVone Claybrooks was in town recently for a meeting - note the use of the word "was", as in past tense. They wouldn't have met with Claybrooks if they hadn't already made the decision to let Etch go.
  19. Really?!? There are girls posting here regularly and some of us are nerds.
