Picard's been terrible all year. I bet he plays in Ottawa next year. Picard was named their most outstanding olinemen.

This was posted on the UC Dino's YouTube channel: Just remember the source... not many Bison offensive plays shown (except for Yantz being sacked) but they do show a number of the interceptions.

Here's a clue, he got injured. He was also injured twice this season in 7 games so his durability is a question in my mind. Hopefully Washington can improve his ball security skills over the off-season because inevitably O'Shea will give him another crack at returning kick-offs. When was he injured in TC? He played in the Riders pre-season game on June 20 and was released by the Riders on June 22. I recall it was reported he turned down a PR spot with the Riders and then signed with us.

The GC will sell out without the Winter Classic being involved. -
I think the only way a defensive player will win MOP is if they add a category for Most Outstanding Offensive Player.

Trestman's NFL time ending it looks like
Jacquie replied to USABomberfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
And there always have to be a few morons out there who take things WAY too far. I was just reading in the twitter sidebar that Trestman's daughters were being attacked on Twitter. Absolute vile. When crap like this happens I wonder if he regrets being a HC in the NFL. http://deadspin.com/twitter-users-harass-marc-trestmans-daughters-after-bea-1657009542?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow -
Do they still play playoff games in The Big O?.... Better question... does that stadium still exist? The Als last home playoff game was in 2012 and it was played at Olympic Stadium. This is the first time they've played a playoff game at Percival Molson that I can remember. And yes the Big Owe still exists.

History is against the Lions winning the East. There has never been a cross-over team in the GC. Then again, the Argos are the first 8 win team to miss the playoffs in at least 20 years so who knows. As of today, the forecast for Montreal says a high of 3C and snow.

Alexander is still here too. I know, he was put to the suspended list last week. I'm not really sure about him though, i'm not sure if he is just battle lot of injuries this year or his game have regressed and got push down on the depth chart by derek jones. He isn't listed as suspended anymore. As for injuries or Jones keeping him off the field, I would guess both. Some of the times he was on the IR wasn't for injuries. this from cfl. transaction page October 31 Roster ... I don't have a second favourite team. If I cheer for another team when the Bombers aren't playing, I base it on what would be the best result for the Bombers and/or which team I dislike the least.

Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed.

WINNIPEG Blue Bombers head coach Mike O'Shea volunteered Thursday his 6-11 football team "needs to get better, from me on down." As opposed to mild mannered coaches who always last forever? Sure, know it all coaches like Mike Kelly always have great coaching careers in the CFL. Where would you put Don Matthews. IIRC he had no love for the media when he was coaching. And didn't Cal Murphy have a testy relationship with the media too.

Saying this is causing me to throw up in my mouth but, in fairness to Wiecek, the editor writes the headline, not the reporter.

Under the new CBA the minimum is one year.

Heenan & Holmes won't re-sign before free agency
Jacquie replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
and dumping Swiston was supposidly a cap move. How could be it be a salary dump? Wouldn't he be paid for the rest of the season. -

The SMS cap jumped this year to $5M. It goes up $50,000 next season. You sure? I thought it was fully official next season as all teams had their budgets set as the new collective agreement was ratified by both sides after the season started. At this time of the season, if every player who was hurt didn't play there wouldn't be enough players to play the game.

Someone like Wasylicia-Leis, Ashton & the Conservative loser from Calgary Rob Anders should find a real job to buy a clue. In Anders case that may just be the case. Having had a "real job" doesn't mean a politician has a clue.

Do you think Cheveldayoff is doing a good job?

And speaking of Kane, he practiced with the team today. -
When has firing a coach mid-season ever proved successful for the Bombers.

Both Grigsby and Madu had pathetic rushing stats. Grigsby had 6 carries for 6 yards (longest run 10 yards) and Madu had 3 carries for 6 yards (longest run 6 yards). Madu at least added some receptions to his stats.

There are plenty of career politicians from all political parties. What difference does it really make.
