Moore should be back practicing after the bye.

No update on Matthews since his agent said he wasn't going to come back to the CFL this year. I haven't seen anything about his work-out with the Redskins but he hasn't been signed at this point. I would guess he's still exhausting all avenues with other teams.

I think the players need the break this coming week more than they need to practice. We are making too many mental mistakes on the field and practicing for an extra week during the bye won't help that.

I bet Doug Brown never had to wait until week 13 for a first bye week when he played.

Is that true? Yes it is. O'Shea stated at the beginning that all the media has to go through him, his assistants aren't allowed to speak to the media. I actually like that personally. I don't mean to bring up bad memories from 2009 but... I find it funny that when Mike Kelly tried to change things so that the HC would meet with the media certain days and other days the assistants would take turns, the media were all up in arms because they didn't want to talk to assistants, they wanted to talk to the HC. Now there are complaining that they can't talk to assistants when the HC is available to them pretty much every day.

What a difference a year (and OC) makes. Last year he was a healthy scratch in a number of game and people were saying he should be released. Then MB comes in and Denmark has been doing great ever since.

I know he would never use it as an excuse but one of the reporters there should have asked O'Shea how much not having a bye week yet has affected the players physically and mentally.

Huh? Cornish literally had 3x as many yards as Will Ford last season. Meant Eastern All-Star, not rushing title... not enough caffeine today.

I find it rather amusing that so many people were saying last season and earlier this season that Ford wasn't any good and the only reason he was named an Eastern All-Star was because other RBs had been injured. And now it's Grigsby's that isn't good and is only leading the rushing stats because of injuries.

Ford's best year with us was running for 594 and receiving 41 with a total of 3 TD's and 2 fumbles he lost. Grigsby so far has 623 yards running... 341 receiving with 9 total TD's and I believe 0 fumbles lost..... You may want to rethink your opinion on Ford. Ford never played a full season as RB wth the Bombers, he only became a starter once Chad Simpson was injured in 2013. Ford played 12 games last season with the Bombers - 9 as the starter and Grigsby's played 11 games so a straight up comparison now might work.
