Gee, I see it differently: I was impressed by the way Romby Bryant stood up to that schmuck Mike Kelly, gave him the finger, and forced Kelly to trade him away. But by doing that to Kelly, he also did it to all his teammates as well. Kelly was an idiot & control freak. I don't recall all the circumstances that led to Bryant coming to Calgary but Kelly's "My way or the highway wanting to control the message" arrogance led to his ultimate dismissal as head coach. I blame the coach & not the player. His Majesty King Kelly treated just about everyone badly in the Bomber court, fans, media & even Bob Irving. You didn't/don't like Kelly and I'm certainly not going to defend him. But I do remember the circumstances of Bryant's trade. I do remember the absolute lack of effort by Bryant. He didn't like Kelly's offence - fine but that didn't give him the right to quit on the team. I still remember this play in his last game as a Bomber. He made a catch along the sidelines - both hands on the ball - and then the Als' defender reached in with one hand and easily grabbed the ball from him. It's difficult to describe how pathetic the play was - it really does need to be seen - but the one thing it showed clearly was that Bryant didn't care.

He played LB when he was in Calgary.

There are 8 now - O'Shea, MB, Charbonneau, Howell, Martin, McDiarmid, Tracey and Jackson. I don't think I missed anyone.

IIRC the main duty involves game preparation such as breaking down film. They do help out on the field during practices. It is considered an entry level position.

I don't recall any of Watson's injuries occurring when he was blocking someone.

Brohm passes Hall on the depth chart?

Kerwin Bell is the NFL's historical QB Rating leader. 5 for 5, 75 yards, 1 TD, 158.3 QB Rating. In the CFL, Kerwin's claim to fame is spiking the ball and sacking himself. Small sample sizes from the NFL mean little in the CFL. I don't know what the final was in that game but giving up a TD was worth it for the years of entertainment value that spike has provide and knowing Bell got a penalty for it to boot. -
Mike Reilly - Fun with three tires.

Same ad campaign but this time it's Bighill kicking: -
No that was him... he was looking like he had potential to be the next Thigpen/(that guy from hamilton who had the labour dispute) We haven't seen a ton from him on offense as of yet... but his speed on returns means if you scheme right... That was Chris Williams. I hope Woods can pick up where he left on and is "the guy".

He didn't need to repeat it over and over and over again to make his point. And he didn't need to ignore the others to make his point either.

I would suspect that Taman was very accessible to Lawless. Local media seems to absolutely love Taman. Campaigning for Taman because he knew Taman would make his job easier is taking it personally.
-
I have not found this to be true. Examples? His Bomber coverage last year per and post firings. He didn't like Mack and everything was over the top mud slinging, he likes Kyle Walters and it's all sunshine and roses. Guy is a self important media douchebag there is no question about that. If he wouldn't make things personal I'd have a lot more respect for him. How about his over the top campaigning for Taman back in 2010. It seemed like he had some glowing article about Taman every day while writing next to nothing about other candidates being considered (and I mean Barker, Higgins, etc - not Mack).

So Jacquie, that's the excuse now if you stink the joint out as a player? How long between games have you played? The guy signed a pro contract. He still has to perform. If the GM is interfering or influencing the decision making process (Not saying he is but you have to wonder) that isn't right. Hervey already did that with Simeon Rottier last season. Said things publicly that were embarrassing to Hervey, Rottier & the Eskimos that he shouldn't have about the guy. Why do you read more into things than what is said? I asked a question because I was curious about the answer. Nothing more, nothing less.
-
Hervey did it with the second cut-down date which is a little different. And not all the other teams have announced their cuts. Have you heard anything out of Toronto, Hamilton and Saskatchewan yet?

When was the last time White played in a game? Did he play football again after he quit baseball?
-
I like the attitude of Rick Campbell - going for it on 3rd down.

Did you use the homemade smoke bombs or was it just a coincidence that all those fire trucks were at IGF?
