  1. You can get the travel mug like that from the Bombers online store. You might have to contact them about the mug.
  2. It's never been Richard Head. Always been Dickhead right from the start. Suppose you already have one of these:
  3. I thought Walters had hedged his bets by saying we'd be looking at Drew Willy as well?Still, I think some team will cough up a draft pick to talk to Collaros When did Walters say we'd be looking at Drew Willy? Walters hasn't because that would be tampering.
  4. That picture was taken in 2011 when Buck missed one game. He was not injured in the regular season game played in BC nor was he in the GC game.
  5. Look what happened to Reilly... plus his choices were Edm or Wpg - Collaros choice is seemingly Ham or Wpg He had more choices than Winnipeg and Edmonton - there were a number of other teams interested in him. Plus he had made his mind up on Edmonton.
  6. $300k is proven top-5 QB money. Not new guy taking on his first starting gig money - not here, Hamilton, Whitehorse, or wherever. I'd expect closer to $200-220k base, with incentives and a signing bonus; given there's more expected competition for Collaros than Reilly, and the new TV revenue deal. Why on earth would we offer $300k to Collaros... to cripple the team? Reilly signed for $150-200k base salary... no reason that Collaros should get more Collaros did look good last year but that was with support of Milanovich, Brady and Maas - unless we create a support system like that (and improve the OL), any QB coming here will falter. I wouldn't be against Burris signing here to groom our own prospect for the next two years... He said it was Burris' max salary, not base. IIRC both Elliott and Brink had base salaries around $150,000 that could max out to the $300,000 range. Offering the same type of deal to Collaros wouldn't break the bank.
  7. Funny, I never saw that ... it's a helmet Buck ... I really don't find that a funny picture. That's scary & sad. I worry for Buck's health as well as his family when he's my age in his late 50's. I really wish he'd retire. Talk about a lot of assumptions being made (not just you iso). There's no indication as to when (during/after the game) that picture was taken. It's more likely a picture of him upset after losing in the Grey Cup rather than an injury.
  8. Buck could be their starting QB if Lulay is not ready by the start of the season.
  9. Wondering how long it will take for someone at one of the various Bomber message boards to say we should sign him.
  10. Would anyone like to see the PI rule changed to a 10 or 15 yard penalty and automatic first down instead of the current putting the ball where the PI occurred? Wrong. At the time the Stamps released him they didn't know how serious his injury was because Pall wasn't scheduled for an MRI until a few days later. Hufnagel didn't want to put him on the 9 game if Pall wasn't seriously injured. Hufnagel said he thought he had an agreement with Pall that he would rehab in Calgary and then re-join the team.
  11. The start date of this thread saying it was either Miles or Marshall was Dec 27 which was 2 weeks after the Riders announced their defensive coaching staff. Presumably he signed the extension before the announcement yet the rumours didn't stop and there haven't been any comments from Miles saying he isn't going anywhere.
  12. What makes you think the Bombers were the only team whose office was closed over the holiday? There hasn't been any official announcement about Jackson joining the Eskimos. Something I didn't notice in the article posted by Mr. Dee when I first read it: I guess some people may be waiting longer than initially thought for the contracts of coaches to expire. IIRC there have been a number of comments at various forums saying it was Dec 31. I would expect the date would be pretty standard around the league.
  13. I'm not sure if you should be yet. The Riders announced their defensive coaching staff on December 14 and the rumours about Miles being in line for the Bombers DC position started after that. Also the position in BC would have been LB coach compared to DC. Did you know the Riders have 2 DB coaches on their coaching staff right now which seems weird.
  14. That's too bad. If you would have waited a couple of weeks you could have gotten one of Samsung's new 110" TVs. I bet you're sorry now.
  15. It wasn't some great feat of drafting by the Stamps when they picked Jones. Jones told teams he would only play in Calgary. No, that is absolutely & unequivocally 100% wrong. What Jones told CFL teams was that he had applied & was waiting for acceptance to the University of Regina's Faculty of Medicine. At the time of the draft he hadn't heard yet if he was accepted or not. He told CFL teams that while he wanted to play in the CFL, if he did get accepted he would not play football. Hufnagel knew that & drafted him anyway. When Jones didn't get accepted into med school in Regina, Jones came to Calgary & enrolled in engineering at the U of C. So, it was a gamble that paid off for the Stamps. He never said he would only play for the Stamps. He'd have played for anyone providing he could get into Engineering at a university in a CFL city if he didn't get into medicine. The Stamps gambled with Jones. But no more of a gamble that Mack took on Mulamba or Hamilton on Gaydosh with their NFL aspirations. The only team that wasn't scared off were the Stampeders. Everybody else took a flyer on the guy. Even the Riders which is surprising considering that he would have been attending the U of R had he been accepted so they may have been able to convince him to do both. Go to med school & play for the Riders. Tim Burke is many things but I wouldn't call him a liar and Tim Burke said Jones told teams he would only play for the Stamps. Go to the CJOB audio vault and listen to the last few coach's show and you'll hear it.

  17. Lol zing. Is Gaydosh still rostered down south? Lol zing. Is Gaydosh still rostered down south? He's on Carolina's IR.
  18. As much as I want to see the Argos play in a better stadium, if the Feds contribute to that plan I will be really angry. They've already committed/spent over $335M for the 2015 Pan-Am Games as well as another $35M for a legacy fund. There is no reason additional money should go to BMO Field for the Pan-Am Games because it isn't needed for them. Let MLSE pay for it - they sure as hell have the money.
  19. Goodbye: - Canad Inns Stadium - Yellow Brick Road
  20. Ooops. You're right. Got my draft picks mixed up.
  21. He's also been released by one team already. IIRC he was signed to his current team because of a bunch of injuries they had. There's no saying whether he'll get a roster spot next season.
  22. You're making a few assumptions there.
  23. Weird OT goal - puck goes down Mike Smith's pants - he slides into goal - Sabres win. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAOKAkEN7SI&cmpid=nhl-fb
  24. What's wrong with Greaves?
  25. And they better hope his off-season rehab for his shoulder surgery goes well too. I know he was interviewed for the HC job but did O'Shea actually interview Khari for the OC job or was it mostly media speculation that Khari was being considered?
