Oh come on - for all we know that gesture he made is not allowed under the rules or he said something he shouldn't. LOL....even the most die hard Rider fans realize that was a horrific penalty. Doesn't matter what team you cheer for. None of us know the reason for the penalty (something said, gesture) so none of us know whether it was deserved or not. People are going to complain about an official regardless of whether the official made the correct call or not.

Why do these TSN guys even comment on taunting calls when they have no idea what was being said or why it was called. I don't like either team. All I wanted was a good game. I'm not going to get that if Hamilton doesn't turn this around.

Can anyone name an available GM candidate who has experience successfully rebuilding a team. There are potential GM candidates with more management experience than Walters but of the names bandied about none have rebuilt a team as GM. Both times when Higgins was GM in Edmonton he inherited good teams. Murphy, McEvoy and O'Day have never been GMs so they haven't been in charge of a rebuild either.

Tyrone Jones was inducted at the ceremony here in 2012 - same year as Milt. There were a number of family members here for the event and his brother Artie represented him at the various ceremonies and dinners.

If this is accurate, the Riders will be paying approx $500,000 in fines and will lose their first and second round draft picks.More than $500,000. If a team is $200,000 over the cap the fine is 2 x the amount over and if $300,000 it's x 3. The CFL website doesn't say if it goes to 4 x if it's over $400,000. If they are $400,000 over the fine would be over $1M plus the draft picks.

Don't think so. According to Drew Edwards, Cortez was going to keep Creehan as DC but let him out of his contract to come here. If they had had a falling out you would think he would have fired Creehan as soon as the season ended.

Taman wasn't GM of the Riders in 2009 and the Als have been to the GC 3 times in the past 5 years with Popp as GM.

IIRC Mike Reilly had a couple of work-outs with NFL team last year. Ray may be the last one who was signed.
