  1. I suspect his head would have exploded.
  2. Denmark has had the same receivers coach since he's been in the CFL. I seem to recall Howell was a defensive and ST coach his first year. Was he also working with the receivers?
  3. Another thing to remember, Hamilton's TD red zone success rate was 77% under Khari.
  4. But as someone else said what else is he going to say at this time. Asking Dickenson as the Stamps are preparing for the Western Final was idiotic.
  5. Why is it perplexing? There could be a number of reasons why he wasn't there. Maybe he's out on a CIS scouting trip or something. Seems to me this is another instance where people are reading too much into something. Love the spin on this one with your CIS comment, Jacquie. Greg Sellinger could use your help... Seems more than a few people are thinking the same thing TrueBlue is. BTW, I support Burke's firing. That was just an example. But we all know that if Walters had made the announcement everyone would be going off on how it was proof he was the new GM. It was a "damned if they do, damned it they don't" situation. And that last bolded part.... I'm shocked. I never would have guessed you felt that way.
  6. Madani's late on that one. I seem to recall Penton(?) writing about Bauer wanting his old job back a while ago.

  8. .Fred Dobbs asked Darren Cameron and he said the deadline was tomorrow so what the Bombers said wasn't bogus. Jacquie you even posted a message that said it was all of November. And I admitted I was wrong after Fred's post.

  10. When he was in Calgary he was an assistant player personnel guy. In Toronto he's assistant GM. That's a promotion.
  11. Not directed at you specifically but why do people always think a fired coach would want to take a year off and collect the money rather than coach.
  12. And that has nothing to do with this game. Same league, so it should have something to do with it. Unless they don't want the officiating to be consistent? Different game, different officials. It's impossible for every official to call things the same way - no matter what sport or league.
  13. Stats-wise for their careers, Renaud has better punting stats. Whyte's been rather inconsistent - both punting and kicking, hasn't he? There's a reason why the Als brought in Dales late in the season.
  14. Hypothetical, with a few seconds left on the clock and on the 1 yard line, would you go for the win when it's hardly a sure thing or go for the tie. We know Burke would have gone for the tie but what would Popp have done.
  15. Not likely especially with the game being indoors.
  16. What a stupid play call on that 3rd down play.
  17. And that has nothing to do with this game.
  18. Defender can't go through the receiver like that so yes it was PI.Also the penalty on the Durant slide wasn't because it was late - it was a helmet to helmet hit.
  19. Had to laugh at Congi hitting the upright again. Nice return by Sanders. Hopefully BC's defence holds.
  20. Als were probably better off with nothing being called. First down on the one is certainly not a lock. And it's pretty easy to criticize a call when watching it in slow motion. In real time it looked pretty close.
  21. Really impressed with Sutton.
  22. It's a very blustery day in Guelph. Replay on the FG try into the wind by Whyte was something. Pretty bonehead play by Cox after that.
  23. That's 10 days before the Grey Cup. Looks like we were all wrong.
