  1. Possibly 2009 TC - Darrell Hackney - 6' 248 lbs
  2. What does that have to do with what I said? Burke said there were players who showed their true colours and those players wouldn't play yet the only roster changes are because of injuries.
  3. Last game of the season and what a season it has been. Hopefully the Bombers will go out with a bang and get home win #2.
  4. Here's the Bombers' depth chart: http://cfl.uploads.mrx.ca/wpg/pdf/depth/2013/DepthvsHam112045.pdf Mainor (shoulder), McAdoo (shoulder) and Peach (groin) are out, Sheffield, Griggs and Anderson are in. So much for Burke and his "true colours" comments. And the Ticats: http://cfl.uploads.mrx.ca/ham/downloads/downloads/2013/11/ticatsdepth-nov22013115551.pdf
  5. He's a founder of Elite Performance. Here's his bio from their website http://elitewinnipeg.com/:
  6. A mediocre HC would have had more success with this team than Burke has and certainly a big portion of the BS over the past year and a half has to do with his being a crappy HC.
  7. I'm going with Will Ford again.
  8. The BoD was discussing whether to remove him as President for about a month before the leak about recommending the firing Mack.
  9. Who are referring to? Walters? Couture? Both?
  10. From the Scratching Post: Unfortunately it doesn't say when he was removed, who these former teammates were or when they played here.
  11. Where did it say he was leaving? Nowhere. false. Last in 2010 Tied for last in 2012. Probably last this year. There are no ties in the final standing because they have something called tiebreakers.
  12. Joe Mack firing leak........ He didn't leak it and the BoD said they had been discussing Buchko for some time before that happened.
  13. Simpson and Matthews are injured so no. IIRC Simpson isn't even in Winnipeg - don't know about Matthews.
  14. Asper wasn't kicked off the BoD. He resigned. Tell me about all of his successes then. Tell me about all of Creswin's huge projects. Do they compare with what Leo Ledohowski has done in this city when it comes to large construction projects? You mean like The Met that Canad Inns bought in 2006 but couldn't complete renovations by the 2009 deadline, almost lost the building and then didn't start the renovations again until 2010 after getting government grants. Or like when the City awarded Canad Inns a $7M grant to build a waterpark at Polo Park but then rescinded it when Canad Inns hadn't done anything a year later. I'm not bashing Ledohoski or Canad Inns - just pointing out that you seem to have a selective memory.
  15. Right. My bad - it was one TC. http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Football/CFL/GreyCup/2012/11/24/20382286.html I think they said during a game last season that Paredes had been talking to a sport psychiatrist before each game as well.
  16. If you're referring to Worman, it wasn't to be a coach but to work in player personnel.
  17. I believe it was reported he signed a 2 year extension in Dec 2011.
  18. And how did you come to that conclusion.
  19. There were a number of reasons why CanWest failed and Izzy was not blameless. The problems started during his watch.
  20. Why do people keep saying that. Hufnagel has given absolutely no indication that he's going to quit coaching anytime soon. And Dickenson has applied for at least one HC job in the recent past. If Dickenson wants to be a HC now then the only way for that to happen is to leave Calgary.
  21. Not true at all. Brock Bulbuck is the CEO of Boyd Autobody which isn't a failed business. Trevor Kennard's business isn't a failure. Chrys Pappas is a successful lawyer at the second largest law firm in Manitoba. Asper's Creswin isn't a failed business (and please don't bring up Canwest because he wasn't the reason the company failed). Deborah Metcalfe isn't a failed executive - she's an auditor for the Law Society of Manitoba. Bill Watchorn is a partner in a business advisory company. Ossama AbouZeid owns a company that oversees construction projects. Vincent Barletta is the rep for the Province. Gene Dunn is CEO of Monarch Industries which isn't a failed business.
  22. Pretty good game in Calgary tonight. Watching Sheets have a meltdown in the first half was interesting. Nice game winning TD drive by the Stamps with an impressive TD by Cornish pushing 3 Rider defenders back into the end zone with him. I was thinking we all think it's a no brainer for the Stamps to protect Mitchell in the expansion but I'm not completely convinced Hufnagel will do it.
  23. Hindsight is 20/20. It was the correct decision at the time.
  24. 9? If you're referring to the Bombers BoD there are more than 10 Board members.
  25. Bob Wettenhall is the one who made the decision to fire Hawkins, not Popp.
