Not true. He took a few hard hits while in. A couple of time they said he was slow getting up after being hit as he released the ball.

Bombers add K/P Lirim Hajrullahu to neg list

that's because they let the best place kicker go, who set a new cfl record He wasn't the best here when he was with us. And you know that how? He never got a chance He competed at 2 TCs and couldn't win the job. The knowledgable posters who were regulars at those TCs have all said he wasn't good enough then. -
Council was going to vote on removing him as City rep on a number of Boards so the evening before the vote Katz suggested to Sheegl that he should resign from them so he sent an email to the BoD doing that according to a number of media reports.

Kackert when healthy can be in that league. Does not get the carries because Ricky Ray is there. I don't think Ray is the reason - more the offensive mindset of the coaches. From what I recall the Argos didn't run the ball any differently with Collaros in than they did with Ray.

Ian Wild is listed as the back-up nickel on the depth chart. Stewart did play the position for a couple games early last season but not since iirc .

Rosters are frozen for the week before the Expansion Draft. Basically once teams submit their protected list, December 9-16. There's two weeks after the Grey Cup for movement. I thought the league still had the right to not approve any trades made after the Grey Cup They have the right to not approve any trade at any time. When's the last time a trade was vetoed by the commissioner? Not vetoed but I think the last time the Commissioner got involved with a trade was the Zeke Moreno/Tom Canada one.

Lock of the Week 17 Results (Week 18 Entries)

I hope you guys don't jinx him because I'm going to take Will Ford again. -
yet watch both of them go into a system with another team that knows how to utilize them and they start to light it up. When I see Adarius Bowman catching everything that comes near him I just shake my head. That guy couldn't catch a cold with us. Also - watching Lapo gush about the "creativity" of other teams' offences on TSN really makes me wretch. He was so vanilla on offence it was just plain sad to watch. Bowman was the same with the Riders as he was here. IIRC Bowman was great his first year here - it was after that when he got the dropsies. With the number of games he's missed with injuries for the Esks, he's messed up his scheduled so the return of the dropsies should be back next season unless he's been cured.

It's one game. It will be interesting to see how he does next week against Hamilton.

Almost to the half and it's 31-3 Als. Smith has looked good in his first start.

But Toronto would have started from their 13 yard line instead of their 35. If they had then moved the ball the same distance they likely would have punted rather than go for the FG.
-
Anyone else notice that against Montreal and Toronto the defence played better after injuries forced a few changes like JJ going back to the corner.

Actually he couldn't call a time-out. There was a rule change for this season that a team can only call one time-out in the last 3 minutes of the 4th quarter. Burke had called a time-out with about 2 minutes left. It would have been a delay of game penalty if he had tried to call another time-out although that would have been better than a loss of down. We still had both our time outs. Had my times mixed up. They took the time-out with 30 some seconds left after Foster took a knee, not earlier. Thanks. I completely agree.

I'm curious to hear more about this once you translate it back into English. Stupid phone. I meant to say, Burke throws Ford under the bus after the game for the timecount, without mentioning that the coaches could have called a timeout if they were paying any attention at all. A coaches only job on gameday is to manage the game, and Burke is just terrible at it. Actually he couldn't call a time-out. No. A time count penalty with less than 3:00 minutes left is a loss of down unless it occurred on 3rd down.

Sounds like Trouba will be out for at least 4 weeks. He's going to wear a neck brace for 2 weeks and then an MRI will be done. If the results are good he'll be able to start light workouts.

Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. The story for BC so far. Wonder if Buck will be in for 2nd half.
-
Burke's been spinning the tires all season. I don't see how anyone could suggest firing Burke would be throwing him under the bus.
-
He did use one time out on the play after Foster took a knee. It was the same play where the command centre reviewed a catch. Isn't that a forced timeout when there is an injury, or is that NFL I'm thinking of? It would have been an injury time out if Burke hadn't called one. It's possible Burke called it just before Foster took a knee - Foster was down when the announcers said Winnipeg had called a time out.

Definition of insanity: putting Boltus in for short yardage plays over and over again and expecting different results.
