  1. Moton Hopkins has announced his retirement.
  2. Brian Mulroney a liberal?!? Seriously?
  3. I'm a little surprised no one has commented on the Als releasing Donnie O or did no one actually read the attachment to Dunk's tweet.
  4. Meanwhile in Texas, the radical right continues to pass the Christian version of Sharia law.
  5. He played 2 seasons for the Bombers in 2004 and 2005.
  6. I doubt they are bringing in another QB. They usually go with 4 at main TC.
  7. Is it really coddling their fan base when 3 of the 5 games are loses (one blow-out and two heartbreakers)? It could be seen as rubbing it in to some.
  8. If they don't allow large bags or backpacks it would make it harder. In the US bombs may be the least of their worries when there are laws being passed allowing weapons into sporting events and concerts.
  9. Forget it. That's a deal breaker - not going to go now.
  10. Having more checkpoints and encouraging people not to bring a bunch of stuff with them would seem to be a way to keep the crowd moving.
  11. From Environment Canada: So windbag Chris Jones has arrived in Saskatoon for Riders TC.
  12. Aren't large numbers of people already being searched when they go to sporting events. There were delays when increased security was initiated but people adapted and they will again if security is increased again. Inconvenienced is better than dead.
  13. I've seen a few reports by the British media that security going into the arena was pretty lax. A number of people said security was just scanning tickets and letting people in without checking bags, etc. at this concert and previous ones.
  14. No because the Bombers and Ticats played three times and had split the first 2 games.
  15. The Bombers would have hosted. If the Bombers had won both the Bombers and Ticsts would have finished 8-10 but we would have won the season series.
  16. Odds are he's the player least likely to get his surname on a personalized licence plate.
  17. I have worked in the private sector and the public sector in the same field. Personally when it comes to private vs public sector pay and benefits for "non-professionals", I don't think public/civil servants are overpaid. I think private sector employees are underpaid.
