And to help the victims of the Bowling Green Massacre: The donation link at the fundraising site goes to the ACLU's website.

It's 2017 and the Riders just put _________ on their neg list ...

He's a former NFL QB who hasn't had a snap since 2011 and has been a FA since 2014. -
Should have qualified that by saying since 9/11. Sorry.

It seems there are some questions as to whether Trump and Spicer know who Frederick Douglass was or the fact that he's been dead for over a century. From Trump's speech: And more anti-Muslim rhetoric: Even though white nationalist extremists have killed far more Americans in the US than Islamic extremists since 9/11.

It's not $1 for property tax. It's the lease on the land that the ballpark was built on. I agree that a $1/year lease was good when it was first built but with the success of the Goldeyes and the tax breaks they already get, it isn't enough now. The City has already forgiven over $200,000 in property taxes on that parking lot lease to Riverside Park Management (that whole thing had a bad stench to it) and the team gets the entertainment tax back like the Bombers and Jets do. They can afford to pay more for the lease. It doesn't really matter if the current league survives or not - there's always another minor league wanting teams. How many leagues have the Goldeyes been in already.
-
If the City were to be able to have access to how much the Goldeyes and the ballpark are worth and set the lease accordingly, would that have any effect on the old Crocus stuff?
-
No. Amazingly enough this is actually consistent with what he said during the campaign.

More proof there is no thought process involved when it comes to things Sean Spicer says: https://www.google.ca/amp/globalnews.ca/news/3214989/sean-spicer-hints-quebec-city-mosque-shooting-justifies-trump-travel-ban/amp/

From what I've read, Customs and Border Patrol agents have been ignoring the court orders. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jan/29/customs-border-protection-agents-trump-muslim-country-travel-ban

Alexandre Bissonnette is the one who was arrested.

And, of course, the countries which Trump has business dealings with are not on his ban list:

By the time the Argos get around to hiring a HC, I'm not sure any team would give permission for the Argos to speak to an assistant.

From the WFP: The Trudeau government has received assurances that Canadian passport holders will not be caught up in an American travel ban that has barred citizens of seven countries from entering the United States. An email from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's office late Saturday said the U.S. has given assurances that Canadians with dual citizenship will not be turned away at the border. "We have been assured that Canadian citizens travelling on Canadian passports will be dealt with in the usual process," said the email from Kate Purchase, Trudeau's director of communications. Earlier the U.S. State Department said Canadians with dual citizenship from Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia, Syria, Yemen and Libya would be denied entry for the next three months along with citizens from those countries. But Purchase's email said Trudeau's National Security Adviser Daniel Jean and other officials were in contact with their American counterparts, including Trump's National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. "NSA Flynn confirmed that holders of Canadian passports, including dual citizens, will not be affected by the ban," Purchase said. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/travel/canadian-airline-issues-statement-in-response-to-us-ban-on-7-muslims-countries--412047973.html

Keep in mind that the stuff sold at that website is unauthorized so the Bombers and CFL do not get any proceeds from the use of their logos, etc.

An icon has passed. MTM show was classic. She was also a great actress (Oscar and Emmy wins/nominations). She will be missed.

Trump is expected to sign an executive order tomorrow banning most refugees and suspending visas for people from a number of Middle Eastern and African countries: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-immigration-exclusive-idUSKBN1582XQ He's also expected to sign an order to begin preparations for building "the wall". http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/donald-trump-immigration-refugees-muslim-countries-sign-executive-orders-iraq-iran-libya-restrict-a7544566.html

Here's an interesting blog entry from a Washington Post opinion writer regarding that: https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2015/11/04/how-badly-has-the-obama-era-damaged-the-democratic-party/?utm_term=.f3deb00afc09

According to an AP story, a law enforcement official told them that officials were "not aware of any issues with flow rate in and around the National Mall". And no one would be debating anything if Trump would put his ego aside for one minute. There were other indications to the small crowd: Both quotes from: http://www.ctvnews.ca/world/fact-check-trump-overstates-crowd-size-at-inaugural-1.3251734 Trump claimed the Metro's ridership was almost twice that number. And now the small crowd at the inauguration can be compared to the huge crowd for the Women's March on Washington: http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/21/politics/womens-march-donald-trump-inauguration-sizes/index.html?sr=twCNN012117womens-march-donald-trump-inauguration-sizes0205PMStoryGal This is my last post about the numbers but I don't think it's time to stop discussing Trump. His inauguration speech is worth discussing given the tone of it and his "America First" rhetoric.

LOL Trump is accusing the media of lying about the size of the crowd at the inauguration even though pictures show the crowd was pretty small especially when compared to Obama's.
