He wouldn't re-negotiate his contract. Same thing with Dressler. -

Any half-decent arbitrator will be hearing a lot of cases throughout the year and would make way more money than he/she would being on the League's staff. -

Facts and stats can be manipulated to prove just about anything. West Jet and Air Canada both have non-stop flights. -

The CFLPRC and the CFLPA provide the Commissioner with a list of arbitrators. There are some arbitrators that hear appeals involving Western teams and others who hear appeals for Eastern teams. The arbitrators are paid on a per case basis. -

This season is the first one they've done that. In the previous 2 seasons they averaged just over 22,000 in 2014 and just under 23,500 in 2015. -
Trump at it again. He tweeted this after the news of Dwyane Wade's cousin being killed: Two hours later there was a tweet offering his condolences (most likely posted by one of his staff).

Argos have released Adrian McPherson and Larry Taylor. -
It's even funnier since Montreal only had 2 holding calls against them (both on Perrett).

Odds and Sods - Game 9 - Bombers at Montreal
Jacquie replied to do or die's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I liked the trick play with the ball being snapped through Nichols' legs to Kohlert who completes the pass to Harris. i wonder if O'Shea and Lapo will have anything special planned for LDC. -
I disagree. They are replaying the game on TSN2 as I type this and just re-watched that play. The penalty was the right call.

I love Andrew Harris!

Not a good day for the new Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon... First reports surfaced that he once faced domestic violence charges: http://money.cnn.com/2016/08/26/media/donald-trump-campaign-ceo-steve-bannon-domestic-violence/index.html And then came allegations that he is committing voter fraud by being registered to vote at an address where he never lived: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/stephen-bannon-unoccupied-address-register-vote-article-1.2766740

No it was before. LeFors said he was told to re-negotiate or he would be released and an injured player can't be released. -

I can remember the media ****storm when the Bombers restructured LeFors' contract mid-season back in 2009. It would be interesting to see what the reaction would be now. -
They don't have 2 starting QB salaries. Reports at the time he signed indicated Harris' salary takes a huge bump to the $400,000 range next season.

I guess I should have added a bunch of smilies to my post so you wouldn't take it so seriously and have your feelings hurt.

Good god no. The last time the Bombers put a billboard up in Regina we were 7-1 and they were 1-7 and we lost 27-7. After that we went 3-8 (thankfully we still ended up in 1st and went to the GC).

CFLPA applies for Workers Compensation coverage
Jacquie replied to Rod Black's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I doubt that. The CFLPA used Alberta labour laws during the lock-out as well. -
You're about a week and a half late with that news. It was posted 2 pages ago.

None of which translated into more wins.

I disagree. None of us knows what the players are thinking. There are a number of factors involved, not just a change in QB. Saying it's the "only conclusion" is over-simplifying the situation. As has already been said, the changes to the o-line have made a big difference as have some other changes. Nichols has played well but we have no way of knowing whether he would have had the same success playing with the same o-line that started the season. There were also a number of reports before the Edmonton game about the team rallying around Mike O'Shea with all the firing talk that were being said.

You have no idea how his teammates feel about him so leave them out of it.

Steven Hill has died at the age of 94. He was likely best known for the role of Adam Schiff on Law & Order. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/24/arts/television/steven-hill-trailblazing-tv-star-dies-at-94.html?smid=fb-share&_r=0
