  1. From the Bombers' website: WINNIPEG, MB., May 24, 2016 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has invited Winnipeg Rifles wide receiver Xander Tachinski to take part in the club’s three day rookie camp, commencing Wednesday, May 25 at Investors Group Field. The 6-3, 210 pound receiver finished his second season with the Rifles in 2015, catching ten passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns. “Our organization is always very invested in bettering younger football players in our province,” said General Manager Kyle Walters. “This will be a great experience for Xander to come out and catch passes from professional quarterbacks, and get a good sense of what the pro level is all about. We’re excited to have him join us.”
  2. I guess you could say the same about former Megadeath drummer Nick Menza although he was only 51. I can imagine it must have been pretty traumatic for the rest of the band and the crowd when he had a heart attack on stage.
  3. He's under contract with the Als so it's a moot thing.
  4. Dominique Davis and Bryan Bennett are the other QBs on the roster. Don't agree about Cato.

  9. Depends on how many internationals are dressed for a game. If there are 19 then there are 3 DIs.

  11. From the April 29, 1995 edition of the Winnipeg Free Press:
  12. I don't think it was odd. They were just mock-ups. The Riders' mock-ups had the tramp stamp on the back of the jersey but they weren't on the ones the players wore at the unveiling.
  13. In an interview after the launch Wade Miller said gold pants for home and away.
  14. He's listed on the Bombers' roster.
  15. How does that solve it?
  16. We've been there, done that, don't want to again.
  17. At least 3' I would think. Amazing.
  18. Richards was ranked 12th in the final rankings from the CFL's Scouting Bureau.
  19. Relevant if you want to wear an old style jersey.
  20. He moved here after he was inducted into the BB HoF and was selling cars. I didn't know he moved back to the States. The only problem was his not being ready to accept retirement and come here to be honoured.
