One conflict with a Bombers game - Stamps are in on Sep 25.

Media loved Tim Burke for interviews. I can't really say who my favourite would be because I can't remember interviews that were done when my memory was still good.

Not hearing the name of a FB in TC reports is nothing unusual though. I think if Fitzgerald would have improved his long-snapping he would have had a chance at making the team but he struggled with that again during the game in Toronto.

Not the impression I got from the couple practices I watched... he was very vocal and seemed to be constantly encouraging guys... sure seemed like he enjoyed being part of this team... OK great. Thanks for that. It'll be good to finally see him play on the 19th. I could be getting him mixed up with someone else, but I thought someone said he was off somewhere for the birth of his kid. And that's got to be a special kind of hell - wanting to be there to enjoy that rare experience but knowing that you're competing for a job and taking that time off might ultimately open the door for someone else to win the employment you're seeking to support that child. Pretty sure someone said it was Gibson during the game chat.

Why would the current owners sell? The team isn't going to stay in Glendale without the agreement the City continuing. They don't have to sell the team to move it.

All this does is allow the owners to move the team earlier than they originally planned.

I'm still wondering whether the Bombers might consider going with Santella for punting and Liram for placekicking. I didn't see the game but Bob Irving did say multiple times that Santella's punts were "high, booming" punts and I think that having really good hang time will be very important with the new punting rule. He also seemed to have good placement. Plus his kick-offs seemed to be quite good as well.

Kinda funny I was just thinking of Trestman today, and I actually think this time his time in Oakland will actually go well, he actually is a household name there as he was also the offensive coordinator there when Rich Gannon was QB and had a lot of success on offense. Plus now he's working with Del Rio who's a pretty respectable guy and Derek Carr the QB he's working with now is a guy who listens to his coaches and learns the game, not an idiot like Jay Cutler who was and is still a disease on that Bears team. I know the Raiders have been known as the NFL's gutter team but I think they got the people there now who actually do have a great chance to make that team good including Trestman. Trestman was hired by the Ravens.

you realize preseason is essentially practice.. and we all know what they say about practice..I swear, you login to the forum and say to yourself "what can i disagree or argue against today.." I think everyone gets that preseason is an extended practice. In practice though, the starters get the majority of the reps. During the regular season they do. Not necessarily during the first week and a half of TC.

Rod Black is even worse on radio. Misses a penalty call completely and then doesn't bother telling us what the penalty was on the RedBlacks on that sack play.

There won't be live streaming of the Bomber game tomorrow will there? TSN announced today they will on tsn.ca! But it's likely going to be behind a subscriber wall so not available to everyone. We can hope that it's on the Argos website so non-subscribers can watch.

Not my call. Haven't been to camp to see them. Don't have access to the meetings, film, etc. Coaches make those decisions.Coaches make the decisions and you criticize those decisions even though you don't have access to practices, meetings, film, etc. The old 'the coaches know more than anyone else' argument. Bomber coaches have crafted 1 winning season since 2008, or 1 in the last 7 seasons, so I don't feel bad about not blindly accepting their decisions. If they can eek out some better records, then I'd put more trust in their decisions.Where did I say that? You are arguing using circle logic. You say you can't say who should play because you haven't been to TC, etc yet you feel qualified to criticize who will be playing even though you haven't been to TC, etc. You're criticizing for the sake of criticizing.
