  1. Practice is from 8:45 to 12:45. I think they have a short break at some point but I'm not sure.
  2. I don't do penis jokes, they're usually so….unfulfilling. But I will relate one: “If I had no penis, how would I pee? How would I make love? How would I think?” ― Jarod Kintz Did you hear about the birth of the miracle baby boy? He was born with a penis and a brain.
  3. Actually it sounds like the games will be on TSN1290, not CJOB... So.... Source?
  4. If you go to an insurance broker they'll do the shopping around for you.
  5. Our old DB coach was Carl Franks? I have no idea where I heard it. Maybe I imagined it.
  6. Was someone talking about Franks earlier. His name sounds familiar. Mike, they signed Shaq. Happy?
  7. Bwahaha! Not even 10:00 am and have had a couple good laughs. First TMZ uses the words "classy" and Kardashian in the same article and now this.
  8. I'm not sure about giving up a starting National o-lineman for a question mark and a draft pick. None of us know when Gill will be fit to play or whether his injury will have an effect on his play.
  9. Your numbers are off I believe. There can only be a total of 81 wins, and here, there is a total of 82 wins. His numbers are correct. Now cue all the Saskatchewan math and counting jokes.
  10. Aardvark as DC? Can't be much worse than Etchevery but head cheerleader might be more his thing.
  11. If Poblah was from Brandon then maybe the Brandon reporter would have asked about him.
  12. Good choice. I have to admit I've got good hands when it comes to balls. Now get your minds out of the gutter - I was referring to footballs... maybe.
  13. Thanks Mike. Appreciate your keeping us informed.
  14. Buck Pierce in 2011, 2012 it was BP/Elliot/Brink, 2013 it didn't matter as he only played one game. Hell, we had four different QBs take snaps during the regular season in 2011 .. wasn't any better in 2012 .. consistency at QB has not been our strong suit for awhile .. heh. In 2011 Buck started all but 2 games that season and most of the games he started he finished. He played only 12 games from start to finish. There were plenty of reps for other QBs that season. Brink got a number of reps in but 100 of the 140 pass attempts were in 3 games. Elliott and Goltz combined had 24 pass attempts. It wasn't nearly as bad as it was in 2012.

  16. I disagree, Willy's accumulated injuries and poor pass protection may have played a significant role in his inability to connect long with Bryant but there is no denying that Romby was a burner and that was the role he was brought in to play. Geez and I thought it had been clearly established at various message boards that Romby had been running the wrong routes.
  17. I would be fine if the Bombers signed him and I would be fine if they didn't. KBF, yes it's on YouTube. Maybe he should have held on but we've seen lots of receivers drop ones like that. There was also a flag thrown just before Hall threw the ball - wouldn't be surprised if it was for holding given the timing so it might not have counted if he had held on. http://youtu.be/843qIhFUSuE
  18. whenever I think of Kito I think of the game I went to in Winnipeg in 2013 against Hamilton. Max Hall laid a beautiful ball into his arms, and he was open in the end zone by 20 yards. He just flat out dropped the ball. Sorry but there's just no room in the line up for guys who can't catch. I doubt there is a receiver in the league who hasn't dropped an easy one. Jacquie...he drops more than one...that's the point And people tend to remember the drops and not the catches. When he was healthy in 2012 his numbers were about what you would expect for his position. His main problem has been injuries. Of course we remember the drops...a receiver is supposed to catch the ball not drop it...so you're really saying he was average in 2012...you must really like him for some reason. If teams released every player who had multiple drops in a season there wouldn't be anyone left to play. As for Poblah, in his only full season with the Bombers, he had 41 receptions for 417 yards (10.2 average) and 1 TD as the 5th receiver. KBF, I just watched the video of that play. Yes Poblah was wide open in the end zone for a while but by the time the ball got to him the defender was able to recover and hit him as he caught it. Not exactly as you remember it.

  21. Yeah he played in the PIT in the winter and helped out with finish first football. That was pretty cool of him. I'd take him back for the min. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure he founded FFF. I think you're right - Kito and Carl Volny.
  22. He moved here permanently a few months ago.
  23. No terms have been released but the closing date is Dec 31, 2015.
  24. Of course they will. Just like they make money from concerts. When it comes to FIFA, you can never be too sure that they would find a way to keep all the revenue for themselves and leave the Bombers with the concession money only. Hopefully it's as you say. According to reports when there was a soccer friendly here a couple years ago the Bombers made money. I can't see this being different. Even with just concessions it should be a good haul for the Bombers.
