Because as I said, people don't vote for them because they aren't a threat to win. They vote cpc because they might form government and make progress in dragging the country backwards.
-
the NDP? absolutely. They've also never been in power... but I don't think there's any extremists in the Liberals party. No need for them. Those people have a home in the NDP or some of the other fringe parties. To me here is the biggest difference between the extreme right and the extreme left... the right is willing to compromise for the promise of steps in what they view as the right direction (no pun intended), where are the extreme left wants it all now and won't settle for progress as readily. so huge swaths of people who would be more at home in the PPC still vote CPC because they know that the chance at forming governments gets them closer to their goals.

Ok boomer

Nope someone has to administer all the government programs. And you can't just "optimize" without going down the privatization road. If there was that much bloat some government would have just solved it already. You can't do it, and if you try you wind up pushing to private delivery of said services.

But one of them will be a huge success and take care of dear old dad right? Right?

Same thing happened Friday. Ricky Walker pasted him and suddenly the riders offense had some missteps.

The beaurocracy is what keeps the government running... and given the population keeps growing you need to keep increasing the number of public servants. You start cutting these things then services stop working. Small government is a nice dream but it's not feasible in the current world. And lord knows if you shrink government then you are giving power to private corporations and I've seen enough to know they offer worse services at a higher cost to me the individual.

Competing ideologies which are incompatible with each other at this point.

The cpc are full of them too.... just because there are some others along for the ride doesn't mean they aren't there and aren't taking charge if the party.

Jesus christ.... me reading all the posts about reasons people miss games.... and then it just now dawns on me thursday is the kids swimming lessons and it's their last class... and it's their absolute favourite thing.... damn weiner kids.

So you are telling them it's ok to move further and further right. I mean cripes it's not a case of Trudeau or the conservatives. There's lots of options! I don't believe I'll be voting for either. You want parties to change? Stop voting for them.

Well if there's 3 fans on must be a bot

Augustine is what he is. He's a guy that doesn't grind out yards. He's much more of an explosion player. I like consistent running backs more. I mean He's stayed here for 5 years cause we need depth at NI running back but there's a reason he bounced around and never stuck before coming here and why he doesn't get work unless Brady is out.

Damn kids! They distracted me and prevented me from making this joke.

In 02 or 03, with Mike sellers being such a force as a backfield blocker I remember Edmonton would line up an OL in the backfield to play fullback just to emulate the kind of blocking sellers gave the Bombers.

Because Trudeau bad!

Not So Official Ratings after week 2 ...

I might rank a few teams practice rosters ahead of the L'ks -
On one hand you lament the crazies taking over conservative parties and hope the moderates can reclaim control, on the other hand you blindly keep voting for them giving them exactly 0 reason to change.

They made Paul lapolice look like he could win games as a head coach

Yeah bc always comes in with the hype and the Bombers always kick their asses. Bc just isn't a tough enough to match the Bombers.
-
Because Ritchie Hall. He does this far too often with the easy to pick up blitzes. So I don't see Hardrick and Bryant leaving at the same time... and we have Dobson and Eli as interior guy replacements. I think the Ol will keep trucking along when guys eventually retired.

That's where the bar is for the bombers. If it's not a blowout the entire game then the other team did well. christ the riders D never stopped our O, gave up 45 points and were never in a position in the 4th quarter where they looked like they were going to win,... and that's a bomber problem? This team hasn't blown many many teams out of the water over the past few seasons, what makes them a good team is that they don't give up, they keep going and going and going and generally make less mistakes than their opponents and grind out wins. Tons of teams play close against Winnipeg, not many actually win because of the previously mentioned reasons. Harris started feeling the hits and his accuracy went away as the game wore on. I read somewhere that Dicklesson was bemoaning some fatigue issues in the 4th quarter. Another reason the bombers do well. they don't fall off as the game goes on. In summary riders got thumped even if the Bombers D played a pretty poor game. Hamilton got thumped even though the bombers made some stupid mistakes costing them points. See how BC and their bestever, OMG so good D does this week.

Using yards per catch as the basis of your argument.... when one guy is a mismatch receiver down field and the other guys gets most of his work off quick throws.... given that Bailey has a more grunt work type role while agudossi is taking Lawlers spot we frankly should be seeing him more. And while it was great he drew the PI on the 3rd down gamble, he also dropped the ball... I'd like to see more. At his height he is always open.

Teams like BC always have an excuse
