  1. I am just curious by which metrics that big brained poster thinks the Bombers are having a poor offseason... re-signed basically everyone that was a priority... no one can actually sign free agents yet, there hasn't been a draft... the only thing that can be judged is how you retain your own guys.... which walters has crushed.
  2. Oh yeah Trevor Harris is good enough to overcome a terrible OL. Sure. Orrrrrrr he starts making panic throws to no-one or the defense.
  3. That and the dump truck full of money.
  4. So Ragnarok was one of my favourites and it was jokey as all hell. The difference between that and love and thunder is that in ragnarok they established Hela as a villain whereas Gor the God Butcher did all of his god butchering offscreen.... Give him some screen time to really establish him as a threat and your movie is instantly a lot better even with all the jokes.
  5. The only consistent thing about the guy is that he is inconsistent.
  6. I enjoyed it too. I was concerned where they would go with it what with the star of the franchise dying and all that, but I felt they handled it really well and the whole idea of they tried to open up to the world and the world just wanted to steal their resources was a nice touch. Then you throw in a good performance by the protagonist and you got something there. Thor would have been helped out immensely if they'd leaned into Christian Bale a lot more heavily and given him more screen time.
  7. No matter what the final verdict it will be less than impressive for the Argos. Enjoy the win last season, it's back to obscurity this year.
  8. Davis isn't a dual threat qb though, he's a no threat qb. Doesn't wow with his legs, can't throw accurately with his arm.... He can't continue any gameplan because he has shown he just doesn't have the ability to play qb at this level. yeah except that Collaros was a pretty well known CFL commodity before he got that contract too. Risk with him was always durability not ability. Everyone knew he could play at an MOP level was just a matter of whether he could stay healthy.
  9. But he throws a really pretty looking ball!
  10. Lanier was good for the riders last year, that's not a hot take or anything, but to make a guy the highest paid after less than a full seasons worth of games seems to be jumping the gun IMO. But also highlights how messed up the situation is when they have to over pay guys to stay.
  11. It makes sense when you consider the premium they have to pay to get guys to willingly sign onto that tire fire.
  12. He was always there guy," he is only a couple seasons removed from an MOP type season, it was other aspects that let him down, and knowing how they have filled those holes he will no doubt be back to being one of the best qbs in the league "
  13. So I didn't want to be the guy to say that.... but you're not exactly wrong. I mean McCrae isn't at demskis level yet but it's the same type of guy just not as polished as a receiver
  14. The team works when it's winning double digit games each year and always hosting the east final. Without that I dunno how well it works.
  15. On the other hand Demski had 5 touches in the Grey Cup and got 28 yards out of it.... He didn't do enough just like nearly everyone on the team in that game.
  16. ehhh it's drawing a comparison between notable Saskatchewan figures with drunk driving histories. One guy gets to be premier the other gets suspended from the football team.
  17. Does versatility matter when you do what you do (get open and make tough catches for your qb) so well? Don't get me wrong, you can do a lot of unique things with Demski and he can hurt a team in so many ways... but sometimes you don't need a swiss army knife when you've got a tool that can do it's one job exceptionally well. Passport is the biggest plus in Demskis favour IMO. The versatility is just a nice bonus. In summary, just get both Demski and Lawler. Schoen too while we're at it. Then go out there and tear the rest of the league a new *******.
  18. Grant was a late signing last time too so I think that's just normal for the guy at this point. With Bailey I believe they want him back but not at a premium price point so they're waiting to see what happens with guys like Lawler and Schoen. THat's my hot take anyway,
  19. See in the states it's easy... you don't need to look into candidates, you're either on the blue team or the red team. Some few people drift between teams and if they don't like one for what ever reason they vote for the other.
  20. I believe noellers concern is that Bailey feels he should be on the list. If he was all but officially back he wouldn't care.... I don't agree but I get it.
  21. They really are overly sensitive aren't they? What a bunch of snowflakes. HE JUST COULDN'T PEE!!!!!! HE NEVER TOOK STEROIDS!!! WHATABOUTANDREWHARRIS!!!!111!!
  22. Not only are they stupid, they're not even good speakers. You can tell they don't know what they're talking about and someone else has told them their talking points. But hey why the uproar over a business deciding to drop networks? Is that not their right to make decisions about their services? If these networks are unprofitable why carry them? Though Republicans didn't like government meddling in the free market?
