Don't Look Back - 2022/2023 Bombers Off Season
17to85 replied to Wideleft's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Demski will be back. All those comments mean to me is that if someone wants to back a dump truck full of money up to his house he will listen to them. -
That's what I said seeing the replay. Bailey needed to take his route shallower to the sidelines since it was the guy covering him that made the pick. Just one of many little errors the team made that cost them in the end.

The word option is a pretty significant ******* word.

Don't Look Back - 2022/2023 Bombers Off Season

One season ending injury and Wilson is an injury concern now? -

All Nationals will be required to sign a minimum 2 + 1 first contract and follow the salary grid You have the reading comprehension of a spoon.
-
I see people in sask lamenting why Bombers fans didn't fill up the place... they really don't understand that their podunk little city doesn't have the required accommodations for such a large event.
-
Yeah we still have the top qb in the league under contract for 3 more years, have a 1000 yard young NI rb, one of the best OLs which will be back, good receivers... and the best front office in the league and a culture that can't be beat. People writing the Bombers off are short sighted. I mean if that last kick goes through does that suddenly change anything about where this team is at?
-
Because reasons.
-
The fact that playing like ass is only a 1 point loss should terrify the rest of the league.
-
Again, no one is arguing with what the cba says about the amount of the option year only that they don't need to exercise the option year.
-
The reality is we will never know what would have happened with that kick were it not blocked and anything is speculation. I thought the kick looked low to my untrained eye, which is why it got blocked most likely, but we will never know for sure.
-
I agree with the sentiment that we should be able to recruit someone who can be that guy.
-
All year this team won because they forced teams to kick field goals while they scored tds. Last night the offense shat the bed and wasn't their usual opportunistic selves. That was the game in a nut shell.
-
I don't think the OL was as big an issue as some are making it. Argos sent extra bodies a ton and collaros didn't pull the trigger on throws. He was very indecisive in the pocket.
-
But they also got us a touchdown and and the ball back with a chance to win at the end with a huge blocked field goal. Yes there were issue but the biggest issue with fieldmpositon was an ineffective offense.
-
he was missed but I thought Sayles had a good night and really can't fault the defensive line or the defense really for this one. O did sweet **** all and that was the problem.
-
I think the real problem on that play was that the 2nd receiver took his route too deep and let the guy covering him get involved in the play. Think it might have been Bailey but to me if he cuts his route to the sideline shorter the pick never happens.
-
This team still set a franchise record for wins and still was 1 point shy in a game they played objectively poorly in. This loss doesn't really bother me. Ultimately it simply came down to the players leaving too many plays on the field and we know they can be better than that so chalk it up to what it is, bad night at the office in the worst game to have one of those. Next season Toronto will be a mediocre team again that no one cares about and Winnipeg will be one of it not the top team in the league again.
-
For my money the D and special teams were good enough to win this game the biggest disappointment was the offense and in particular collaros though Schoen and Ellingson make those two catches early (and IMO they were very catchable passes) things might have turned out differently. All year this team was great converting second downs, tonight they were awful at it. Just did not adjust to what Toronto was doing.
-
Well thank God we got the system we do then.
-
Make more plays and less mistakes. It's not rocket appliances.

Buck is a lapo disciple, given how much of a failure lapo was better just stay away there Ottawa....

That's not even a question in my mind...
