  1. I never got the sense Ritchie Hall was going to retire on his own. Even O'Shea when they bumped up Younger said it was a case of needing to promote him or lose him to someone else. So there you have it. Mike O'Shea, pragmatic and willing to tell over the hill aging veterans it's time to make way for the younger, hungrier options.....
  2. He was semi-retired but not of his own choice... Bombers made younger DC to not lose him and told Ritchie Hall he was stepping aside.
  3. Hell keep an American rb on the pr if need be. Oliveira gets hurt we can flip the ratio easy enough.
  4. I thought we'd have moved on from Augustine last season but here we are. Guy has remarkable longevity for not really doing anything other than checking off the "backup canadian rb" box.
  5. Everyone starts that way with lapo, streveler did too, and Nichols, but eventually is all goes back to check downs. More time qbs spend with lapo the worse they get
  6. I find lapo to be then opposite.... he wants guys who fit what he does rather than tailoring to what he has.
  7. The entitlement is demanding open transparent answers in the media.
  8. That's a league thing. Guys don't get cut from the NFL who can step in anymore
  9. The only team that for sure wouldn't trade their past 3 seasons for winnipeg is Toronto and Montreal is debatable depending on if you value 1 cup win more than 3 appearances.
  10. What are you a communist? Only profits are private, all risk and expenses should be socialized. I am still ******* angry at the sweetheart deal the governments out here gave the Flames.
  11. We have made the grey cup for 5 straight seasons and hosted 4 straight western finals.... a little perspective is perhaps warranted here... ultimately they failed to win the big prize 3 years in a row but they still have had tremendous success including last season. Anyone look back at the stamps of the 2010s and think they weren't successful? Or the als of the 2000s? They had plenty of Grey cup disappointments but they weren't touted as unsuccessful. Fact is that prior to the Bombers the last team to make 5 straight Grey cups was the 5 in a row Eskimos... that says something right there. People need to tone down the craziness and see things for what they are. Could be better in some aspects but could also be a ******* hell of a lot worse.
  12. He's the raddest ******* dude alive?
  13. Bottom line you execute the passing plays no one is going to complain about lack of running. You fail to execute running plays people will complain about too much running into a wall. You want people to not complain? Execute and win.
  14. Honestly with how defensive the team has been about the whole collaros thing i read that as they know... but oshea will never give in to the media and give them a straight answer. Just not his MO.
  15. Agreed, we should get streveler back.
  16. What a sad ******* state of affairs for cfl quarterbacking when Vernon Adams is the hot sought after option...
  17. No player worth anything is ever going to not want to play. Coaches needed to sit him down.
  18. Ehhh you spend that kind of money to go all in when you're hosting the grey cup and lose the semi final after a collapse in season there are consequences.
  19. If we're punting from midfield I got a lot of faith in the aussie to find the corner and pin a team deep.... but punting from our own end? I expect to give up a field goal minimum.
  20. I wasn't talking about us, only Toronto. Not everything needs to go back to Oshea. Fact is Toronto has a good system in place for finding players. Makes Dinwiddies job easier.
  21. Sergio is a way better punter than the dipshit they used the last couple years. I just want a guy that can at some point boom one and flip the field when needed.
  22. Dinwiddie is a good coach but he's also got a good personel department going for him.
  23. Yeah oshea might have flipped on the seat warmer but he's got lots of rope left.
  24. Well did they not find a replacement or were the special teams just not very good blocking for returners ? Cause every guy they put back there looked pretty much the same.
  25. 2021 was the year Lawler earned himself a 300k per year pay day...
