  1. Man there are so many people around Washington that are completely on the books for Russia it's not even funny. What the west really ought to do is step in and put a boot so far up Putins ass he never even looks at another country again... but that's not advantageous because he's insane and likely to start throwing nuclear weapons around.
  2. Probably just the same people who hung off Derek Taylor's nuts because they thought his boutique stats were the bees knees. I got nothing against new unique stats as a curiosity, but let's not pretend they're all that meaningful. Some rider fans felt it gave them a sense of being the smartest guys in the room because Taylor told them some obscure number on the radio.
  3. Yeah if you aren't going to pay the global players a reasonable amount if they deserve it what's the point? Guys like Hansen are exactly the ones that this program was designed to find... yet he might quit because it's not worth paying him anything. Another half formed idea by the current CFL management.
  4. It's something that will rile up their rural core supporters incredibly well. Keep em angry and frothing at the mouth with no time to think. Not that any of them are prone to thinking anyway.
  5. this is the problem with the democrats. You have 2 different groups that vote for you and both are different. Biden was the status quo pick, which pisses off a significant and growing part of their support.
  6. I don't know why he couldn't be "better" than demski... totally different kind of receiver and demski fits what they like to do so well, but in terms of production I don't know that wolitarsky is all that far off if he was put in a position to do more. He's not Jamie Stoddard out there. He's got more tools and more pedigree than that. Just the way they built the receivers this is where he plays and his numbers will always be less than they could be because of it.
  7. The corporate masters like a right of center Democrat party.
  8. Yeah without going into what reputation means it's hard to really judge... seems very toronto-centric though...
  9. Russian threats seem so laughable after their special operation in Ukraine. Like the school yard bully who got punched in the face and is now holding back tears with a bloody nose still trying to appear tough
  10. Gosh if only homeless people would just stop choosing to be poor and choose to be rich instead. This is the most disgusting thing about a lot of modern conservatives. They have no interest in looking into WHY anything is the way it is.
  11. So they would just win seats they already won by more. That's the current conservatives problem. Their appeal is too concentrated in few areas. They don't have widespread appeal across the country and honestly I don't think the populism crap us going to resonate without some actual policy behind it.
  12. Yeah I just think the people who are going to vote based on these dog whistle issues are already locked into the conservatives. Might as well try some policy that appeals to the majority of Canadians. "Trudeau bad! Liberals bad!" Has lost them 3 elections in a row now. Clearly people aren't buying it.
  13. It has hurt Trudeau though. Problem is the conservatives keep doing stupid **** too turning voters off of them too.
  14. And then wonder how they wound up in a republican dictatorship
  15. The new curriculum is such a ******* joke no school board will even pilot it. Kenney can go **** himself with a rusty fork.
  16. More like cause he come across as a pompous ass.
  17. The existence of only two parties lends itself to the Us vs. Them narrative. But you add a third option that gets harder.
  18. Do you think so? Or would "moderate" Republicans stop voting for bullshit because they're afraid of socialists?
  19. Which is a huge issue with the states. It's either A or B. You have left wingers siding with Bernie voting Democrat because it's better than republican and you have moderates voting republican because of fear of democrats like the progressive wing. You have a proper progressive party down there you might actually see the democrats actually be moderate because they'd have to work for votes and you would see less republican support. Would probably mimic Canada to some extent where the NDP serves to keep things from getting dragged so far right.
  20. Something to keep in mind regarding Bernie vs. Clinton is that Bernie isn't really a Democrat and Hillary was the party's preferred candidate. Why would they back an outside vs. The chosen one?
  21. We had a bout of the 'ronas and are just coming out of it. Wife and I both have 3 doses I had pretty mild symptoms. 2 non-consecutive days where I felt like crap otherwise not too bad. My wife on the other hand was knocked on her ass for at least a week and a half. Our 3.5 year old was feeling tough for a few days but bounced back pretty well and our 1 year old is finally more normal, but the two kids have the lingering cough and noses that want to leak a bit.
  22. Gaslight Obstruct Project <-- claim democrats are pedophiles while trying to allows marriage to children. Time to call out these anti-antifa what they are, fascists.
  23. And therein lies the problem. The right wing in North America has been dragging the perception further and further right. Especially in the USA. Republicans constantly saying "meet us in the middle" while stepping backwards every time the democrats move towards that middle. Bernie Sander is seen as a lunatic left winger in the USA... yet he would fit right in with the moderates in most of the rest of the world.
  24. Buttery males!!!!!
  25. The problem I have with that is that it is based on Democrat being seen as left which perhaps is true in the USA, but in the rest of the world it is still ******* right as hell.
