I think the problem is more that the made in China vaccine while effective against vanilla covid is much less effective against vallthese variants than the ones the western world used.

2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread

Was saying to noeller earlier, Calgary is a city where interest in the Stamps is waning and they've tried nothing and are all out of ideas so they probably figure 4 downs is sure to get people interested! -
So someone who has been the target of the opposition for so long like Hillary Clinton has and the best they come up with are her emails and some largely non-issues about a charitable foundation? Don't you think that if there was any real dirt they'd have dug it up? Same with Biden. If the GOP had ANY dirt on him would they waste time on his sons laptop? They are trying to make Hunter Biden issues Joe Biden issues because they got nothing on Biden. Bill Clinton too, did you know they started digging for dirt to go after him on before he even got the hummer in the oval office from an intern? Your while attitude is why these non-scandals become scandals and why real scandals on your team get over looked. Like not everything is equal. There are minor improprieties and then there are major transgressions. The right wing would have you believe that all are equal and if you can kind of sort of tag one left winger with something it means both sides! No matter what.
-
That is such a stupid attitude to take... "oh I don't trust the source, must not be facts.... no facts are facts regardless of the source. The key is knowing when you're getting facts and when you aren't. Which is possible but apparently it's too much for some people who would rather just be told what to think.

It's interesting that no one commented on his football accomplishments until the brigade showed up to **** on him.... The rest of us were just impressed with the athleticism. -
So regurgitating Trump campaign talking points as evidence of corruption. Ok that's what I thought. Nothing credible.
-
Are you referring to claims made by Michael Cohen which are not provable? Or is there something else you are referring to?
-
Can someone explain what made Hillary so corrupt other than being a long time established politician? Like specific examples please. To me she didn't seem corrupt so much as just a boring uncharismatic career politician. Which isn't the same as corrupt. Behold to the system perhaps but that in an of itself doesn't mean corruption.

My back hurts just from watching that... -
Well the best lawyers who will work for the risk of not getting paid anyway.
-
False. Democratic corruption? Absolutely.... but Trump and the GOP are orders of magnitude more corrupt. Especially Trump. Like my God the guy is the physical embodiment of corruption.
-
"not as bad guys"
-
Yeah Bill Maher is an insufferable prick, butnhe was bang on when he said that America has a fine right wing party, the Democrats. They just don't have a left wing party.
-
He'll the democrats aren't even all that much pro democracy. They are still bought and paid for by the wealthy elite. That's what the both sides is. The wealth playing both sides against each other to ensure they get even richer.

Are you sure that actually happened? Are you sure you're not just remembering how the rider fans blew all sorts of smoke up his ass with the expectation Jones was bringing him to Saskatchewan? Cause a young qb having a few decent games is certainly not a guy looking like Warren moon 2.0. -
The place is named high river for a reason. You would think people would just expect flooding.

Who the **** did Arbuckle piss off to be passed around like this? -
And worked tirelessly to undermine western alliances on Putins behalf, and to ease sanctions on Russia. Yeah the entire GOP is the pro-russia party.

Of course it was a boom that spurred the population growth, but that doesn't change those people being here now spurring some diversification. No one is saying the province can just replace oil and gas with no shrinkage in economy, but alberta is not going to find itself as a nothing province without another boom. Lemme tell you the oil and gas industry has been a ******* ghost town the last 7 years and Alberta hasn't collapsed. Oil and gas is just an enormous thing that skewed perspectives.
-
Alberta is more diverse than people think. Just because oil and gas was ridiculously big doesn't change that. Ucp reversed a lot of the work the ndp did to further those aims but you can't totally stop it. Calgary is the 4th largest city in the country now I believe, alberts has been creeping up on BC in population too. That alone brings with it economic diversity. Everything else just gets compared to the juggernaut that is oil and gas.

Just go to playoffs is the cold. I have sat through some absolutely frigid temperatures. Just dress appropriately. We're all Canadians here, we know how to dress for the elements... course I see people show up in a light jacket and jeans to cold weather games and they're miserable... guess some people refuse to put on the winter outfit. -
Yeah man. I think about possible replacement for Kenney within the UCP as premier and I laugh because as deplorable and without merit as a leader as Jason Kenney is, he is hands down the very best choice they have.
