One of the reasons for defenses getting better in the cfl is the extra DI positions that have been added. It allows more rotations on defense to keep guys fresh and less of a dropoff for in game injuries.

Yeah Reilly still has plenty of game left in him, but no run game and a poor ol is just getting him killed. No qb would succeed in that situation. Bo Levi Mitchell though... his arm looks shot. He is lifting soft balls deep which are easy pickings for dbs. He needs to figure out the problem and if there is a solution otherwise he isn't a huge threat.

Considering most of them jumped on the bandwagon more recently they probably think they've won a couple in short order and therefore it's a top notch franchise.

Does no one remember when O’Shea hired lapo all the talk from lapo about wanting more say on the players he had on offense? He basically implied Mack didn't give him the input he wanted when he was head coach here and he didn't want to go through that again. (More evidence of his arrogance) so he clearly got some more saying Ottawa and it doesn't look good on him. Lapo has some definite strengths. But he also has some weaknesses that hold him back as a coach. The only potential one is Darian Durant but I'm not totally sure on his early story with the riders.
