How many teams the last few years jumped at the chance to sign someone like Kevin Glenn? I mean just cause we're in a soft spot for qbs in the league right now doesn't re-write history. I don't buy the Allen was just chasing money nonsense either. BC couldn't wait to bring in Dickenson because Allen left them wanting more despite winning a Grey Cup for them in 2000. No some people are just imaging this mystical figure because memories are fading and all that remains are numbers on a stat sheet, and for Damon Allen they're impressive totals, but they don't tell the whole story.

Given all the reports that staff can't tell him the truth without him throwing a tantrum i believe that they have to give him phony charts which he believes to be true cause he ain't gonna read it anyway nor have the ability to interpret it anyway. When you insist on being the smartest guy in the room and rage about anything that contradicts what you want to believe this is what happens.

If Damon Allen really was this elite qb why were teams always looking to move on from him and upgrade? Seriously he was good but not great for a long long time. He did have playoff success which is a huge feather in his cap, but it doesn't make him one of the greatest. You act like the multiple team thing is a mark in his favour but all it does is prove the point that he was over rated.

You just picked the one year Allen legit had any kind of really notable season... seriously one year. Given your user name i have no doubts you're just pumping the tires of everyone who came through those Edmonton teams, but i am right about Damon Allen. There is no shame in it. Guy still has a well earned status in this league because of his longevity, but he ain't one of the top qbs to come through this league. Not by a long shot.

Honestly the only reason I don't take Glenn over Allen is the fact that Glenn's post season record is so poor. That's the only real difference between the two of them. Decent qbs but glenn had that mental block in the playoffs.

See i don't hate Allen at all. I just think he is over rated. I would take Calvillo over Allen any day and twice on Sundays.... Allen was never a guy who would be my first choice at qb in any era he played in. That he played a long time and piled up a lot of stats over that time doesn't change that fact.

Allen wasn't dominant either. He wasn't a shrinking violet in big games and that is too his credit but damon Allen was never the best qb in the league. He was just ok but played forever.

I said nothing of masks... I said wash your hands and no face touching. To be honest I think the recirculated air is the ast thing to be concerned with. Common touch points are big, people breathing heavy in your personal space, that kind of thing. But hey if people wear a mask working out that's fine. I see guys do hard physical labour in full face respirators all the time so why not go to the gym?

And I mean if a guy goes to the gym and doesn't touch his face and washes his hands no problem right? But the people who don't do those things are the ones that ruin it for everything. And I believe it is mostly classes causing problems, so likely people in too close contact.

Yeah lots of people acting like it's all over. Would not be surprised to see Nenshi make masks mandatory in Calgary since Kenney can't do anything of value. I'd bet that gyms will be closing again too since there are some outbreaks linked to fitness classes.

Yeah communion is about the worst idea during a pandemic. Like I understand the importance of it, but cripes people it is all the do not dos of a pandemic.

Yeah surgeons don't wear the masks for germ reasons, the masks are to prevent splash back into their mouth predominantly.
