Well first thing, no one is really complaining that the riders have had only 1 road game, it's said more in amazement because it's ridiculous scheduling. As you pointed out they're barely at home for the end of the season. Isn't that ridiculous? And second of all the schedule does not even out. Pretty obvious that Ottawa is the worst team in the league and the Bombers for example don't play them once while other teams get multiple games against them. Edmonton gets boned on the schedule too with that ridiculous re-scheduling. It's a piss poor schedule and I think everyone can agree with that.

If Harris took the helmet and swing at a player then yes he should have been suspended. But that didn't happen. Let's face it, you are out to lunch on this argument. Could he have been ejected? Sure if the refs wanted to be really strict, but it's not automatic and they felt it wasn't warranted.

Ummm has fajardo not started every game for the riders thus far ( Bombers kicked his ass twice in a row by the way) Harris has been in the whole time for the elks up til now... so why is it just an excuse now that the Bombers record is better than everyone else's? I will say this, the narrative that the Bombers are just lucky with injuries is crap. Our team has depth. Full stop. That is why it doesn't appear injuries have impacted them. Get a GM that does his job and you can replace guys lost to injury. Kyle walters is the hardest working most proactive Gm in the cfl. Change my mind.

His whole plan was to be premier in Albert's when oil and gas rebounded and take over as leader of the cpc when they blew another election and be prime Minister. He is ambitious, but thankfully he has failed so spectacularly in Alberta his government career should be over.

Everything the UCP has done has been a spectacular failure. Their new K-6 curriculum is so bad there are only like 2 school boards even willing to pilot it. They invested a billion dollars into keystone XL which was canceled as soon as Biden took office. They're trying to claw back doctors and nurses salaries still even while we have a pandemic going on. Just the absolute worst and I don't forgive anyone who willingly voted for these clowns. They bear responsibility for this too.

And yet we both know Bumbles is going to throw the doors wide open again and this time probably will do away with testing so we don't see how bad things are.

The thing that bothers me is that this was largely preventable if they had done things properly from the get go, or announced some restrictions a few weeks ago instead of trying to bribe a few people to get a 2nd shot. Typical Bumbles, waits until it's already a crisis to actually act rather than showing leadership and acting before it gets to a critical point.

The most encouraging news is the mlas angry at kenney I hope he throws a fit at the revolt and calls an election like he has threatened in the past. It sucks. I don't need a federal election, I don't want to lose nenshi or the councilor for my ward (they're both not seeking reelection) but the only government that desperately needs tossed on its ass we don't get the chance to do it.

Speaking of Arland Bruce, one my my favourite memories was a game vs. The stamps where they got behind and everyone headed for the exits only for khari and Bruce to connect a few times for the comeback and everyone was pressed up against the gates trying to see what they walked out on.

And yet Howell was probably one of the best dbs in that game.

You know who else used to have nothing but praise for the opponents who kicked his teams ass? Jim Daley. I am sure Tim Burke probably had a bunch of those too. It's the hallmark of a coach in over his head.
