  1. Manitoba is a good example of a place shutting things down before it got bad working to stop the spread.
  2. Dogs are ******* awesome. No I just think Kenney is a true believer. He's an ideologue who truly believes in his vision of the world as the correct one and he will do whatever it takes to enact that. It's ******* dangerous and a disaster waiting to happen. It's going to take years and years and years to dig out of the hole he's putting this province in. God willing Albertans come to their senses and vote his evil ass out of office next time and don't give him a 2nd term to **** things over even more.
  3. I really honestly thought that race riots were a thing of the past. Guess it's just different up here.
  4. I would have asked her what her and Trumps definition of truthful was.
  5. And honestly decrying the loss of the_donald as loss of free speech.... that places biggest problem was they straight up did not allow different opinions. Aka a lack of free speech. It was the single biggest example of a circle jerk in the internets history.
  6. Lol. That subreddit didn't follow the sites terms of use. There are a pile of subreddits that were killed not because of lack of free speech, but lack of following the rules. Free speech is a government construct anyway not a private company thing. Companies can stop you from saying anything, it's a government that can not when free speech exists. I wish people had enough brain cells to rub together to understand that.
  7. Hey if you think being like Jason kenney is something to be proud of.... crippling this province. Just terrible all around. Increased the debt, reduced services... yeah great guy.
  8. Jason kenney shows he is still an ******* with the pigeye-esque comments. ******* albertans just couldn't do the right thing could they.
  9. How bad will the period between election and inauguration be? Makes no sense they have that lame duck period.
  10. No this is wrong. Herd immunity will be achieved through gradual re-openings as opposed to the try and infect everyone all at once method. The way they are doing it is to avoid overwhelming health care so we can treat people who need it.
  11. Never let facts get in the way of pettiness.
  12. It's questionable that it is the most sensible course of action for Sweden... and Sweden is not a good comparable country anyway. They have a very robust social safety net because of their investment in it and high taxes. Compare that with America for example where people struggle to get healthcare at the best of times.... It's just another bad faith argument by people who care more about their own lives not changing than they do about their fellow people.
  13. I agree, you should go do a self assessment
  14. You had a good run America, but you have gone full ***** and now you'll be a 2nd rate power. Oh sure you still have the big **** military, but you're seen as a joke on the world stage now.
  15. I assumed it was americans since the worldwide death toll for covid is higher than 100 000
  16. Go watch Dirty Work and tell me Norm MacDonald isn't funny.
  17. Trump took the work Obama did and claimed credit for it and drove it toward a cliff. The economy was going to crash under trump. Jobs aren't the be all end all, the stock market isn't the be all end all. Well paying jobs are the signal of a strong economy, not everyone being a wage slave to corporate masters. That's just new age slavery.
  18. No death is insignificant. And how do you magically protect the vulnerable when everyone is a carrier? We have essentially drilled down to the core of who you are... you don't value the lives of your fellow human beings. Congratulations.
  19. No there are lots of cases of young healthy people dying. Like everything the old and sick are the most vulnerable, but pretending that there aren't people outside those groups affected it simply pants on head ********.
  20. Name me one time when cutting taxes on the wealthy ever helped an economy. Or when tariffs ever helped an economy. You are one of those types that thinks about the economy in completely backwards ways. You don't build a strong economy from the top down. You build it from the bottom up.
  21. The headline says best run when the study talks about fiscal solvency. That's editorialising.
  22. Everyone knows that covid isn't the most deadly thing out there.... but it spreads like wildfire and no one has immunity it. This is why we take these steps we do. You can get a huge death toll when things are left to spread unchecked. Hell parts of the US tried to take steps and it's still out of control. Bottom line, to hell with the selfish assholes who just want to get everyone sick and let fate decide if they're the unlucky ones who have to die. It is reprehensible behaviour honestly. Why risk lives when we don't need to?
  23. So many domestic terrorists in that country.
