  1. He is nowhere near as bad as you think. Allstars? Nope. As a 7th starting Canadian fine. Problem is we have about 3 or 4 7th starting Canadians.
  2. Collaros does that remarkably often. Just takes his sweet time getting up. The fact they let him run the next play and then took him out is just more ineptitude on the cfls part.
  3. Nah man Collaros was good that game, even in the face of constant pressure up the middle taking a **** kicking. How many sacks did Toronto wind up with? They had 4 scoring drives taken away because receivers or running backs coughed the ball up, plus the 3rd and 1 poor spot at the end. Forget the score, forget the numbers whatever they were, it was the most accurate and in control Collaros looked all season. Even vs. Calgary he still needed some highlight reel catches to look good. Didn't need that vs. Toronto.
  4. But collaros was good this game, even the pick wasn't his fault, he threw it to demski but the command centre pooched the review. Best game of the year collaros played and if he plays like that the rest of the year I am 100% ok with that.
  5. They could try making one change and see what happens... and if still problems make another. That's what infuriates me about this season. We can see the same problem spots every game and they don't do anything about it.
  6. The order of scapegoating goes players -> coordinators -> head coach -> gm.... we got lots or players we can scapegoat before the coordinators start to feel heat.
  7. Demski was wearing the DB like a backpack before the ball got there. I would dearly love to hear an explanation of how it was not PI.
  8. How come? Are we really going to blame Pierce for the lack of receiving talent and OL talent and massive deterioration of Collaros play? Pierce didn't call all those fumbles on Saturday.
  9. Why does everyone want the bc offensive coordinator? They've failed every year in the playoffs because it's fairweather football. Passing yards go brrrrrrr though right?
  10. I am a fan of that kid. He just stands out in a good way so often. I dunno if he's got a real high ceiling, but even as a contributing piece he is a dandy.
  11. you know how I know Bighill is cooked? He got absolutely TRUCKED by Carey of all people. Yeah bighill made a good play on the 3rd down yardage, but he is not a good player at this point.
  12. well how much is Pierce actually responsible for? I don't really blame the OC for an offense struggling given the guys on the IR and lack of depth behind them as well as the fall from grace of the talent on the OL and a star QB aging quickly. This teams problems all stem from getting old too fast and not having adequate depth to handle it.
  13. So I actually felt this was maybe the best game of the year collaros played... not his fault guys fumbled on him and the OL was trash letting him get sacked a shot ton.
  14. Yeah this is all I'm saying, be excited about the potential, but he's got some kinks to work out before he's compared to Geroy Simon. I like that he seems to be figuring it out, but he's got a ways to go.
  15. Did we just forget all the other games? And he nearly gassed that td pass last night when he was wide ******* open and the qb dropped it right onto him.
  16. I don't agree with that... Lawler was a forgotten man in the nichols/lapo we can't throw more than 5 yards downfield offense, the second the change happened at qb he showed his stuff. Schoen never showed suspect hands and was a great route runner from the get go... demski has been who he is for a long time. Good player with a tendency to fumble because his ball security is lacking at times. People want to get hyped on Wilson fine, but he still needs to show a better ability to catch the ball too.
  17. Oh I'd like him better as the 4th receiver but hands are a big deal for a receiver to me and he's shaky catching the ball too often. I'm not ready to run him out of town, but until he doesn't juggle **** like that touchdown I reserve the right to be skeptical about how reliable he is.
  18. Ehhh he still has iffy hands. His touchdown was uuuugggggllllyyyy. He's got potential for sure but he needs to catch the ball better. Right now he's 2 out of 8 good games.
  19. You really think that's how it went down? Cause from my perspective it was more like "look we know you're worth more but we don't have the space to offer you that, so go find what you're worth." And last season Bailey opted to take less just to stay. That's not disrespectful, that's just the business and both sides handled it well IMO. Now with 2 big ticket guys on the long term IR you can bring back a guy like that when he is released.
  20. Team is playing like garbage this year, it's in Toronto, they have a bunch of injuries, there is absolutely no reason to expect a win... so they are naturally going to win.
  21. **** we've all seen plenty of bad losses, it's the losses that don't have to happen and the refusal to change the approach that led to those losses that causes the anger.
  22. Money... Bailey could get more elsewhere so they let him, already having Lawler, schoen and Demski... well now they only have Demski so, and schoen isn't coming back this year so you have room for Bailey now.
  23. Demski as a #1 is miscast. As a #3 (which he normally is) he's a dangerous weapon.
  24. Ayers and Jones were already on the roster! We just took 2 off and added more DBs without subtracting any DBs (Never mind that the 2 LBs coming off are the two best ones). The bolded is entirely the problem.... there were a handful of LBs from preseason that showed well they could have kept to be used in just this situation, instead we're left with "The only other linebacker they had available to elevate would have been Fabian Weitz"
