I tried to tell you before, it's the ability to recognize good information from bad. Credentials don't mean **** if you're a snake oil sales man.
-
The opposite of what guys like Jason kenney or Andrew scherer are doing.

I would be curious to see what would happen if trump just said no election, president for life....
-
#1 quality of working for Trump is being an ass kisser. Want job security then just keep telling him what a bigly brain he has, maybe the smartest person in the world.
-
Nothing that guys says is beyond belief. He says a lot of stupid **** trying to BS his way through life. Unfortunately he is in a position where his lack of awareness and ego are costing lives.
-
I think 6 year olds come up with better lies. Perfect time for a journalist to seize the opportunity to ask the president to clarify whether he is not taking this seriously with "sarcastic" answers or if he's just a lying idiot in over his head. Nothing will sway his base, but I'd love to see the temper tantrum it would cause.
-
pffft he was obviously joking. or maybe he didn't mean that or maybe you are just taking him out of context.

They can bring new articles of impeachment any time they want. And let's be honest there's a trail a mile of long things trump should be impeached for. Senate and GOP are complicit though. They won't remove the guy advancing their agenda.

Erroneous! Jurrasic Park only opened once. It was never open the first time and the rest of the time was just people trying to get dinosaurs off an island or being unauthorized tourists.

Mookie Mitchell is another guy who I felt was better than Simon but not as long lasting. -

Simon was better as a receiver than Allen was as a qb. -
Narcissists make horrible leaders. Good leaders actually value quality people around them because they have that confidence to let others lift them up.

It sure was. -
The only thing he knows better than anyone is not paying your debts.

Well if that's the standard then everyone can sue the USA. Just no self awareness amongst Republicans is there?

I work for a health and safety consulting firm, I am aware of how things work. And i can tell you right now it always always always comes down to are the supervisors and management enforcing things. Workers by and large are ignorant, they need the supervisors and management to enforce thing. Cause you can't have someone from ohs on location all the time. So yeah the blame ultimately lies with management. When I go to a site I know if it will be good or bad simply based on which company it is.
-
So with health and safety it ultimately comes down to are the workers following safety procedures and are the managers enforcing them. You can look at what a company puts on paper and it looks good, but if it's not implemented what do you do short of having someone fro OHS there all the time?

Back in the days when not every game was on TV. I remember having to listen to this on the radio. Thank god Bob Irving is a legend, but yeah I can vividly remember sitting there listening to this one. -
You sure like to move the goal posts you know that right? People try and corrupt science to meet their political needs, but science is pure. Other than quacks who get discredited very quickly scientists have no agenda, only the search for answers. It's ignorant people who try and corrupt research, but they're not engaged in science, only trying to justify their silly positions.
-
No one is talking about correlation vs. Causation. And the first rule of science isn't that. Science is impartial. Conclusions are drawn based on the evidence and tested for repeatability to ensure the correct conclusion is reached. Where a lot of people like you fail is you find a conclusion you like then try and pretend to find evidence to fit that conclusion. The fundamental thing about science is that it's flexible and always changing and adapting and believing what the evidence says. Economics is little more than sophisticated guessing.
-
They can call it science all they like, it doesn't make it true because there are too many variables that can make the models completely worthless.
-
For example, the obviously biased article you posted may cite a legit study, but economics have so very many variables that you can't accurately make predictions. The key with these corona virus lock downs is government support of people and small businesses, which is outside the norm which throws all the modelling done in a study completely out the window. So no, there won't be that many suicides unless a government fails to act. In which case it won't be a lockdown that causes it but a government neglecting and mistreating the population.
-
Economics are not science. Yeah they try really hard to science it up and treat it like it is science, but it really isn't.

Well it was about that time I realized he was about 8 stories tall and a crustacean from the paleolithic era...
