  1. Trying to bribe people with their own money. Sad thing is a lot of fools will believe it while Trump and his cronies out right steal from the country. Where's a gun toting low life when you need one?
  2. Obama's endorsement really means little, he was going to endorse whoever the Democrats nominated
  3. Oh they know. Trump is their useful idiot. Once they have complete control for Republicans they will deal with their sideshow.
  4. Trump and his band if idiots already ignore the parts of the constitution they don't like. At this point I wouldn't put anything past them. They are engaged in a pretty blatant power grab and Trump has no qualms about acting the dictator already (emphasis on the ****)
  5. he should be really careful with his rhetoric cause if push really comes to shove and the blue states just stop supporting this corrupt federal government then he won't have any economy to speak of. Most of Jesusland is a third world country propped up by the blue states.
  6. Well I have said that governments need to help small businesses through this too, but all that aside people's life's work is always vulnerable to outside circumstances. The guy I used to work for spend his life buidling a consulting firm and the oil crash destroyed that one him. I invested 14 years and saw the rug pulled out from under me. **** happens. I feel bad for businesses, but I also stand by my comments that there will be opportunities during the recovery for those with the entrepreneurial spirit. The key here is living to fight another day.
  7. That has been going on for a long long time already and it's your type of attitudes that keep it going. You know how you counteract that? Good old fashioned socialism where you tax the wealthy and give social programs and support to the middle and lower classes... exactly what is starting to happen during a lockdown. Out of crisis comes opportunity and if businesses fail, there will be opportunities for new ones to take their place in the recovery. Status quo wasn't working. This can be a shakeup to actually make changes that improve things.
  8. By all rights Trump should have been toast before he even got himself elected. Never underestimate how stupid people can be.
  9. but muh 'conomy!!! Better people should die and my investment doesn't lose money.
  10. it is going to be a gradual loosening of restrictions, perhaps adding some in vulnerable places but it's going to be a step by step process to get life back on track.
  11. appealing to his humanity, shame Trump has none.
  12. Elliot's problem was that he basically took risks in a lapo offense cause he pushed back against the play safe crap. Blame lapo not the fans.
  13. More super accurate reporting here. Seriously dude, feels ain't reals.
  14. Well I have said since the get go it's up to governments to prop up the people who need it. It's a team effort, but we got a lot of selfish people don't want to get on board.
  15. Respirator.
  16. oh so you're just talking about the baseline rate huh, silly me, I thought you were expecting that sort of thing to sky rocket with this tanked economy. Go on and show me the numbers. Otherwise you're just being alarmist. I don't buy for a second you give a **** about poverty and starvation because if you did you wouldn't be going on and on about how important the economy is. People who focus on the economy tend to be the most selfish types and they only want to get theirs and **** everyone else. I mean you're fine letting more people die just so the economy is strong.
  17. Well where is all this starvation and poverty? Or are you being alarmist and buying the hype and panic being spread by certain circles?
  18. I must have missed all the poverty and starvation going on....
  19. it's not just hospitals that can get overwhelmed. it's supply chains in general if you get a bunch of extra people in an area that aren't normally there. We already see in large cities store shelves that are empty, don't need to put further strain on small communities.
  20. Obama was also campaigning for president 12 years ago right? That's a long time and things have changed since then. He certainly wasn't the establishment choice even if he wound up governing that way.
  21. The language alone in this piece should be your first clue that it's not an objective piece of information. That's why you are wrong. You are taking opinions as facts and not questioning them because it tells you what you want to hear. But this piece is pushing an agenda very obviously. It's not telling you the truth, it's telling you what you want to hear using broad, vague statements and opinions presented as facts.
  22. GP is a **** hole that's why.
  23. First person who tries to say "see no big deal" in my hearing is going to be verbally slapped upside the head for being a dumb ass.
  24. Wasn't his whole campaign based around hope and change? Trump won because he was the anti-establishment candidate. The people deep down, they want change. The establishment they want status quo. Hillary was that, Biden is that. It jsut doesn't resonate with a populace that is feeling every more disenfranchised.
