  1. That's the biggest thing. If a rookie played as bad as bighill has this year he would be gone and never play again... but bighill can never even take a seat on the sidelines. It's beyond a problem now how some guys have no accountability
  2. He has done that every game this year. Throw it right to the opposition when we start moving the ball. Guy is just so done as a high level qb. Physically and mentally.
  3. Lucky can catch a short pass and run fast for a few yards too, just as well as Oliveira. More importantly her is a veteran who could read the D and adjust and be in the right spot to make a catch.
  4. Both parts. Streveler can absolutely be the future and the guy to go to now. Throw a rookie qb into this cess pool of an offense to what end? Ruin whatever potential he might have? Are we so eager to rush back into the tim Burke era of qb of the week?
  5. I think it's more like, when you're getting beaten physically you're more likely to take holding penalties or pass interference penalties.
  6. He spent most of the game just throwing it up for their 7 foot receiver. Super simple stuff.
  7. Yep and one of the things Wally Buono understood well. Plenty of times he sent a popular veteran packing because he didn't want to get stuck holding the bag with a declining player
  8. Well I remember 2 years ago discussions started about bighills declining production, and last year everyone knew he was barely hanging on so this is sadly not out of nowhere. BA I think the injuries just finished him.
  9. Go read the first few pages of this thread and see how your statement lines up with what was being said..
  10. It's not lately. He's done that exact same thing his entire career.
  11. I think he knows quite a lot, I think his problem is 100% as simple as he won't make the tough roster calls and take his guys out for the good of the team. It's sad when it happens, but he settled into too much of a comfort zone with some players who obviously can not get the job done anymore.
  12. at very least throw him in for a series when the O is bogged down just to shake things up. "we've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas" seems to be this teams mantra this year. the bighill thing at the end of the game, that's a guy who knows he's playing like **** trying to make a statement, unfortunately for him he's still playing like **** and now just looks like an idiot. Hopefully the league suspends him so we can stop watching him make an ass of himself trying to tackle.
  13. Collaros started to slide last year a ton and Brown was better than he was. If not for Oliveira taking over late in the season people wouldn't be surprised by COllaros this year cause it started last year.
  14. is he? or do our coaches just not take Collaros out unless they have no choice? They didn't use Streveler for anything besides short yardage early in the year either. he only got to throw a pass after Collaros was hurt.
  15. Yeah last game was really the first one collaros was making a concerted effort to get the ball out quickly. That's what they gotta do until the OL settles down.
  16. He was good in the one game he played last year too. But getting to the main point of tonight.. **** Saskatchewan and their stupid fans so so so much.
  17. Swapping returners just seems like playing with fire... At least Jones and garbutt on is a positive
  18. Honestly I could see Wilson being a good receiver in this league. His problems the first few games were totally mental. He just flat out couldn't make a play on the ball. If he is over that what's stopping him? No obviously if he goes back to looking clueless as to finishing the play then sure he's on the bust pile, but why be negative now? He's over the rookie jitters, sky's the limit.
