  1. Don't tell me what to do.

You think that Trump wanted a winner declared tonight for funsies? This is exactly what was expected. Republican lead on election night, a pile of absentee ballots from democrats to be counted. The republican party is very good at making sure their votes count and that democrats have a hard time getting their voters out or their votes counted. The entire plan was voter suppression. What I think though, is that as many conservative judges as there are out there, a very large majority of them still hold the law in high enough esteem to not play Trumps game. Now obviously 2 of his lackeys on the supreme court will do what they're told, but the rest of them? Not as likely to just give this lunatic what they want. Polling is not that flawed despite how much republicans will yell about it, and people don't turn out in such numbers to give a controversial candidate another mandate. If it is somehow decided that Trump wins then it is absolutely because of rat-******* by the republican party. Mitch McConnell was never in any danger of losing his seat, and Lindsey Graham was never a long shot. Texas was not going blue just like that. It's the fact that some of these races were close that is the story.
  3. Everyone knew that it would take a landslide for democrats to make a close race. Republicans work very hard to play silly buggers and keep people from voting. Wait until everything is counted before freaking out. There are a lot of tight races. polling is not completely random these days, bug voting turnouts don't happen for incumbents generally. If Trump wins it is a dirty election. That is what the Republicans go for. Country is gerrymandered to hell and back.

The preferred term is gravy seals.
  5. Yeah those two have done a fair number of games together and I agree they're a good tandem. They just seem to have some chemistry on air. My only beef with Gord Miller is sometimes he acts like the colour commentary in addition to the PBP.
  6. If they can make a case that they can do it safely I see no reason why the government won't make an exception. All of these laws are pretty subjective anyway.
  7. No. terrible idea. You have a HUGE universe you can play in with Star Trek. just make something with new characters that stays true to the older series and people will be happy. Make it good, not a quick cash grab.
  8. Work with the governments to get an exception. They will actually have to get off their asses and come up with a concrete plan though.
  9. I don't see why they can't play with fans in the stands. Most of the stadiums are outdoors, just limit capacity and spread people out. The biggest challenge is testing players and coaches and staff to ensure the teams remain healthy.

He really should have owned a chain of theatres. He is a master when it comes to projection. Good rule of thumb, if Trump accuses someone of something he is guilty of it himself.

He did the right thing initially, much to the surprise of everyone but ever since the first re-openings he has been total right wing dor knob, including picking fights with AHS.

Honestly, the fault lies with people. Too many socializing and not taking precautions.
  13. Yeah it's stupid. They spent years and years and tons of money getting doctors here, now they're driving them away. **** every single person who voted for these assholes.

A Trump never pays his debts.

I don't want them hiding, I want them branded with a big T on their forehead so they can't hide from their shameful display. I want the same for people who supported/support Jason Kenney here in Alberta. You back a lunatic who wants what is worst for society you don't get to distance yourself from it.

But the senate ultimately controls what gets passed and what doesn't. In order to undo a lotnof the damage that is done you need the senate too.
  17. question is, y'all got any more of them rich folks willing to lose money on a CFL team?

It's one thing for the republicans to ram through a partisan judge, but my god this lady is so grossly under qualified it's farcical. Probably woulda been better off with PJ, or Squee, or Donkey Dong Doug
  19. Wow much as I am not a fan of how he ran his teams that's a big loss for the CFL.

Yeah but to be totally fair I read the line somewhere else so I can't take credit for it.

Oh I am not questioning whether people believe it. Obviously they do, only questioning the truth to it. Trump really hasn't done much of anything and I am curious the specifics of it all.

Are people willing to vote for Trump a reliable source though? What do they cite as things Trump as done to help them? Realistically the only thing Trump has done is a tax cut for the wealthy which help a small segment of people. Other than that what policy's he put in place? He really has been a do nothing president other than half baked ludicrous ideas.
  23. God are you stupid or just too lazy to read? The empty suit ucp candidate in my riding had more votes than all others combined. So unless I voted for him it was a throw away vote? At least I didn't vote for theft and disminantaling of education and Healthcare. I may have thrown my vote away, but you voted to **** this province over for decades to come. And that is why I am not letting you distance yourself from it. You chose this. You supported this. You gave Jason kenney free reign to do all these thing. Hope you're happy. At least I cast a vote for a decent person and a party that wasn't interested in ******* everyone over.

Odds have to be pretty good that he will try and use Biden mic at some point.

This is what struck me watching the first debate. Trump uses business jargon to avoid facts. Things like "i just had X in my office discussing that" or "X and I spoke on the phone about that" that might be a fine stall tactic in a board room but it doesn't work in politics.
