  1. Having Collaros around is probably also not a bad thing for Streveler either, because before he was hurt all the time Collaros was also a pretty decent runner, so having a guy who can run but is experienced enough to keep his eyes downfield while doing so could be good for a young guy like streveler.
  2. God I said when they kicked that ball, no respect for our offense. It's an insult that I am glad cost them. The other key play was Grant returning the missed convert. It's the kind of big play that can energize a group.
  3. I doubt Streveler is healthy so it won't be a decision. guy who runs that much with a bad wheel, just asking for trouble to try and force him in when you don't need to.
  4. you'd think Streveler was much less experienced a player.... would your opinion be the same if Calgary had held onto some of those balls that Collaros put into their hands? Let's flip it, if Streveler had thrown those balls would you be allllll over him for poor throws and dumb decisions he was lucky were dropped?
  5. I do cartwheels and victory laps after every win no matter who is in at qb.
  6. Just tempering things. He made some throws every bit as bad as Streveler has made. The real difference was he did some veteran things that made helped create plays, but it wasn't this flawless thing either. So again, I am simply trying to be objective here. Good performance that wasn't without blemish. My whole point here is that our offense is largely the same no matter who is at qb, the things that matter most for this team is whether the D makes stops and the special teams can make plays. Both things we got tonight we didn't in Calgary.
  7. enjoying the win, still worried about the yards the D gives up and the offense and it's continuing issues.
  8. Now I love wins and Collaros did do some real good things... but he coulda easily had 3 ints on the night if not for Adams knocking one out of the dbs hands and a db flat out dropping another one. It's the same things this offense has issues with no matter the QB. Difference between this game and the one in Calgary is the D got a few more stops tonight.
  9. Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad. I have known how bad he is since his first go around here. Seriously we've already fired him twice, we didn't need the hat trick that badly.
  10. how about as the season winds down they're trying to drink the bar dry? It was an annual tradition at the student union bar in university at the end of the term.
  11. don't be like that, we're better than those assholes.
  12. Lapo definitely likes to rope a dope, but he doesn't appreciate how hard it is to swing momentum back when you need it.
  13. Citing yet another guy who is pretty much washed up as a professional coach? I am telling you coaches these days have had to evolve beyond kicking trash cans.
  14. All you need is a 3 game hit streak, and this team can accomplish that. Neither Saskatchewan or Calgary are juggernaut teams this season.
  15. Also from roughly a million years ago.... dinosaurs are extinct and that crap doesn't fly anymore. Coaches have evolved beyond the need to curse and scream and cut people at the drop of a hat.
  16. Hey us die hard who put up with this team sometimes probably could be committed
  17. The offseason is so long how can anyone not care about any bomber game? In 2 months time we will be begging for meaningless preseason games
  18. Rios was complete ass against the Stamps last week, him being out isn't a loss given that.
  19. Liberal brand has been poisoned in Alberta since the first Trudeau, most of the current anger isn't about who voted what way, it's about the way Alberta was talked about by the current parties.
  20. again this is why Albertans are pissed off. "oh you have it good, quit bitching" That's exactly how the states wound up with Donald Trump. When people are angry being dismissive of them only leads to more anger. Try listening to why these people are upset. Husky just laid off 500 more people yesterday, all those preconceived notions you spouted and all the facts about income and taxes in Alberta, it's not helpful to people who lose not only jobs but careers. Than you have the political parties offering no help for the oil and gas sector while making noises in the anti oil and gas vein and anti Alberta... Alberta was made out to be a pariah for political gain and you are damned rights that will lead to resentment. Now I personally don't believe this separatist talk is anything serious, it's just people voicing their anger. The anger is a valid feeling considering what has been happening the few years, it's time to take it seriously and not simply dismiss it.
  21. gee wonder why alberta feels like they do...
  22. It's a damning statement about our offense that Harris is far and away the leading receiver in terms of catches.
  23. With the bold you are not doing a whole lot to convince me that Lapo doesn't just ride his star players as far as they'll take him...
  24. He has one in Harris, he tries to ride him as hard as he can but it only goes so far. Lapo always relies on players being superb to make the offense work, he doesn't elevate anyone on his own.
  25. A guy who got fired despite having some all time great players
