Hate to root for the Stamps, but BLM taking the riders out behind the woodshed would go along way to restoring sanity.
-
So get the Esks to do the entire league a solid and thump those pretenders to end the regular season.
-
he's not wrong though, the Riders are the luckiest team we have seen in ages. 10 wins, but they are a complete smoke and mirrors show. you can pretend otherwise but I suspect you will see a similar playoff result as last season. Out with barely a whimper.
-
yes, and turnovers are something you can at least somewhat control yourself. It's not some foreign concept to look at a game and see how it was won and lost, and the 2 games in Regina it was turnovers that got the Riders the win certainly not their offense.
-
Yeah the Riders offense did absolutely nothing against the Bombers in all 3 games. We gave them a bunch of turnovers in their building and that's really all they got. I don't fear that team at all. Worst 10 win team I have ever seen.
-
yup, considering every other qb who doesn't play on a tire fire team has missed a pile of time and they won't give the MOP to the real MOP because of a drug test I wouldn't go bragging about that too much. But hey, you want to go all in on Fajardo good luck to you!
-
only if you visit some of the fantastic breweries in Seattle
-
I think your team has a tougher schedule remaining than people think. Yes Logan Kilgore is awful, but so is Fajardo and I don't think a Rider sweep of the Esks at the end of the year is guaranteed, not to mention a game vs. the Stamps who won't bring the bullshit game plan the Bombers did so I see them picking up the win there. Your team is in first now, but I don't believe they are in a terribly comfortable position there. Meanwhile I don't believe the doom and gloom surrounding the Bombers now either. Here's how I see it playing out: Same as last year truthfully. Unfortunately for us gassing the game last week cost us the series vs. the Riders so hosting will be tricky, but it is what it is.
-
Maybe they offered to pay Durant -$70000
-
Oh I dunno, it'll be pretty hard for the Riders to cross over at this point, they will be in the west playoffs and we will get the chance to beat you again.
-
Some people just want to see desperate panicky moves.
-
I really think that a guy like Streveler is just such a competitor that he struggles with the passive lapo offense. Like Elliott when he was here just no patience for the idea that you don't try and take it to your opponent. At least Khari has talked about how you have to push it against a defence even if it isn't there just to show them you are crazy enough to do it.
-
yeah but for how many plays until he gets another concussion? That's the issue with Collaros, any hit could be the one that puts him on the IR again.
-
I truly missed my calling not being a spin doctor.
-
Yes but he had a different OC when he was first hired. So it's Lapo he is giving a chance to.
-
you see many people expecting anything from collaros here?
-
But one of the worst coordinators for protecting a qb. Last year the Riders never kept Collaros in the pocket simply because they knew he'd die back there. Lapo though loves to leave his qbs sitting in the pocket for blitzes to tee off on
-
And he was loyal to other people who he fired too. That's the thing, some of us don't fly off the handle with rage and demand firings immediately. some people are capable of giving people chances to overcome their issues.
-
God what a waste of a pick. guy can't stay healthy so you can't rely on him.
-
People are idiots, especially fans. Too impatient, too ready to fire people. We have seen how being quick to fire people can turn out with this team many many times. It doesn't look pretty. I'm fine with giving the head coach who has brought this team back to respectability more time with some less lame coordinators. I've already said if he doesn't opt to make a change at OC he will lose my backing (I exclude Hall because we have seen some growth from Hall we haven't seen from Lapo)
-
Yes but some people have more patience than you do.
-
I wouldn't worry about that. He's won too many games for me to think that's a realistic possibility at this juncture.
-
So make the change away from a proven loser at OC and see how O'Shea does. O'Shea had issues early on getting the coordinators worth a damn to be interested in Winnipeg because of the teams history of firing coaches quickly, and then when Lapo was hired there was all the talk about getting someone with head coaching experience to help a relatively fresh faced head coach... so let's let him try one more time. O'Shea is a damned good head coach and Lapo we know all about his issues (which are manifesting themselves again with this offense) so let's have one more shot to get it right at that position.
-
you don't need to fire guys with an expiring contract so he'd be right to scoff at that.
