No you are wrong. There are very few people that pump Nichols up as being one of the elite qbs in the game. The arguments come from people like you falsely arguing that Nichols didn't play well based on whatever subjective statistics you come up with and praise other quarterbacks because of whatever statistics you come up with when they didn't play that well either. See the problem for people like you, is that you have no consistency. You view the Bombers with a hyper critical eye which you don't turn on other teams as well. You are much more lax in your judgement of other teams than the Bombers. Which is why you always find yourself in these arguments.

I wouldn't put that as a plus in the Argos favour. They were so disinterested and unprepared to play that the score was 31-0 before they even showed up. Streveler has more personal need to impress and takes more risks. This is the same lapo as we have seen for 15+ years. Remember 2002? Bombs to stegall and Bruce or drop it off short to Robert's and Sellers. Stoddard was under used on the mid range stuff. Nichols is good at throwing those mid range passes but this team doesn't prioritize them, especially when up by 30 points.

He had like 3 TDs on 8 passing attempts to start they game... they were killing the argos and got conservative cause the argos are no threat.

When this team is winning they play to avoid mistakes not to pile on the scoring. Adjust your expectations to reality and stop worrying about glory stats I garbage time. It was garbage time about 10 minutes into this game.
