Yay for small sample sizes! Yes Collaros and Nichols do things differently, and maybe Collaros is the overall better quarterback... but the numbers offensively still played out the same for every quarterback we used. Not super impressive passing stats, a crap load of rushing yards. The way this team was set up was the same for every qb. Don't make mistakes and capitalize on the chances you get. That's what Nichols was doing this year. It is quite frankly unfair to put the midseason crap on Nichols. There was a fundamental change in the way this team played after those games they gave away with the passive ****. Defensively they tightened up a hell of a lot and offensively they stayed more aggressive too. Let's consider that Bailey and Lawler really came on as the season progressed and I don't think Nichols ever got the chance to have Bailey in the lineup. That makes a difference too. To try and downplay Matt Nichols is just silly give all the factors surrounding this team.

Right? 7-2, top offense in the league, redzone domination and cruising to an easy first place in the west finish. But haters gonna hate.

Get the **** over yourself and stop downplaying Matt Nichols. If Nichols had played the whole season like CoFaj did Nichols would have blown him away in counting numbers.

Lapo did fine on sunday. One of the "good Lapo" games. Overall though I find he is still too up and down in the play calling regard. I guess I was wrong when I said we'd never win with him calling plays, but hey when you get a team effort like that.....

100%, and getting those turnovers early was a huge kick to the teeth for the ti-cats as well. Evans never had time to set up and throw. he was rushed all night.

I love how Winnipeg is not seen as a threat. When playing well Winnipeg can beat anyone. Hope hamilton thinks like the rest of the media does. Bombers can punch them in the mouth.

This will only be the 3rd one for me, but it's just a totally different experience from a regular game. I've seen the riders and Als in Calgary and the Esks and Redblacks in winnipeg and I am just unbelievably stoked to see the Bombers in this game.
