So maybe this is Trump being brilliant after all, by being the most corrupt president in history he is exposing just how rotten the system is in the States and it will in fact lead to a draining of the swamp....

The MBB All-Time Blue Bomber Team: Quarterback
17to85 replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Don't look at me. I desperately want to make that argument but it can't be done, and as you know, I can't argue a losing point. -
Get your head out of your ass with stupid suggestions like that, he was obviously playing DE.
-
They are nothing if not self serving. Trump is just a figurehead. He becomes too toxic they dump him overboard.
-
That's just it, vets don't need as much practise time early on.
-
I am not sure the Senate would give Trump a pass... they would turn on him to save themselves no doubt. Claim he was a Democrat before he was a Republican so he bamboozled them all.
-
Not all heroes wear capes.
-
You forgetting how often dressler was deep?
-
Aside from Goossen, Taylor Loffler was the biggest loss Winnipeg underwent in the off-season. LOL. can't take it seriously when Loffler is a bigger loss than Chung.
-
So you want to just chuck it up and let the big dudes win balls eh? Not the worst plan.
-
someone tell him to knock that off in practise, don't need him getting into Nichols head already.
-
that being said, we said going into the game don't turn the ball over the riders can't beat you, and that was the focus. At no point did I ever really feel like the Riders were going to actually win that game with their offense.
-
The counter point would be Streveler being 1-3 as the starter and Davis 0-1. Yeah small sample sizes and backups and all that, but part of the winning is Nichols doing no question.
-
That was Tim Burkes doing. Guy had some of the worst Bomber games ever under his watch. Team did not play for him.
-
and if Streveler hadn't had the familiarity with the "backup" receivers Lapo might still have ignored the guy totally.
-
And probably throughout the year too.

So you think me using the coaches instead of our coaches changes the meaning of your post.? Cause it doesn't. I think perhaps your fingers and your brain might have a disconnect. It happens but you wrote what you wrote.
-
you said multiple things, one of which is that the coaches give veterans the benefit of the doubt... How is this too complicated for you? You don't want people to comment on what you say then choose your words more carefully. Nichols gets the benefit of the doubt and more rope precisely because of his past performance. That's not a bad thing either. He has demonstrated a higher level of play, he gets the chance to elevate his game to that level. Not like Streveler didn't see any action at times last year in relief. You can't run a roster by yanking guys at the first sign of trouble. How is that supposed to allow anyone to work their way out of their funk and not destroy their confidence? But I guess that's your mentality right? Perfection or GTFO?
-
He he has the crap kicked out of him physically. It takes a toll on everyone. Seen it a million times it feels like over the years here.
-
What you said was coaches give vets the benefit of the doubt. I am pointing out that the reason Nichols gets lots of rope is because he earned it.
-
If the game is won in the trenches then I love the way they have built this roster.
-
well that and the fact that he has won more games for this team than anyone in a long long time. But hey, it's totally just the coaches in Nichols corner because veteran!
-
and no one here wants to listen to you bitching about Nichols when you are way off the mark either.

Collaros has entered Buck Pierce territory. Was a good player for a while, but all those concussions have taken away his ability to be a high level player. With that guy it's not if, it's when the next little bump is gonna concuss him.
