  1. But you said they should always be looking over your shoulder. Modern coaches who have the most success balance the forgiveness with making moves. Oshea used to do that but lately it seems they are really reluctant to make changes for God knows why reasons. As I said, a coach needs to know what changes to make and when.
  2. That's old school and doesn't fly anymore. Having guys worry about one mistake or one bad game is counter productive. You want to be patient with people because everyone has a bad day at the office time to time. That being said coaches need to be flexible and read their team and know when and where to make changes for the betterment of the group.
  3. Kolas has sucked for a couple seasons now. This isn't a case of a few games. I remember telling noeller last season that I bet kola starts the year but before the end of the season Eli has the job. So this isn't a this year thing.
  4. I have neen thinking... did Eli not getting vaxxed and being unavailable for the 2021 grey cup put him on the **** list? Cause there's no way he isn't one of our 5 best OL.
  5. If Brady isn't ready to start why is he on the roster? If Augustine isn't good enough to be the rb without Oliveira why was he the backup rb? Get a plan!
  6. There are far bigger issues than Kramdi on the other hand...
  7. Lapo totally seems like the kind of guy that would have a shared email with his wife.
  8. If professional coaches never made mistakes they'd have way better job security than they do.
  9. Done as high level impact players, but both could serve as contributing players.
  10. Like I said, he's more patient than we as fans are. Which ultimately I think is a good thing, but he's not stupid. Truthfully unthinkable walters had a poor year all around last hear and didn't seem engaged. I suspect he's not going to sit on his hands so much this year.
  11. Have we got a reason to doubt Kyle walters in that regard? Guy has been very proactive throughout most of his tenure here. He took the are to a bunch of the roster in the offseason. I think he knows
  12. It's the internet age, everything is public context
  13. So I think age is the biggest problem on the team. 100%. Too much money in old guys who can't bring it like they used to... I'm just taking a shot because a couple guys get all horned up by the freak athlete type and have blinders to anyone else who may be a good player despite being less physically gifted. If it were me I'd have cut agustine and had the backup rb as an America position. I'd have made the switch to all American on the DL. With bighill hurt early I would have used at least game 1 as an audition for a young American with potential to steal the job. Same with Alexander I'd be giving younger guys a long look at a chance to work their way into the role.
  14. So I do believe there are some issues this team has fallen into... however these guys have had a lot of success, I do believe they are capable of turning things around. It isn't as doom and gloom as the folks who just want the track and field all stars everywhere. There's more to what makes a good athlete than just their physical measurable.
  15. He's a staff reporter for the team, it's quite literally not his job to question the team. He's a hype man.
  16. This is it, Bombers as a whole are more patient that fans. And given the number of wins and a couple close plays here and there from 4 time champs (regardless of everything being said on here) is a very easy sell for management to give more rope to people.
  17. Better question, are they actually going to use Augustine this week? Cause based on usage they'd have been better off starting Eli at rb.
  18. Saying that in public is fine. Take all the heat keep it away from the players. It's not words at this point that matter, it's actions.
  19. It's just maddening to me that they hardly gave any reps to a runningback that was going to play running back and streveler got 1 quarter and the rest of the QB reps in preseason went to guys who were either straight up cut or not likely to ever see any real playing time in the regular season. In what universe does that make any sense at all? And people wonder why the offense looks like garbage out of the gate.
  20. That being said, proper line depth in that game might have led to a win despite bad qb play
  21. They should at least use him and see... yet another ******* bonkers preseason idea. Give all the carries to Americans they were always going to cut... why notjgive augustine reps if is your guy when Brady is out?
  22. I was bored last night so I watched some 2019 playoff highlights. Interesting to see how collaros back then took a lot of heat in the pocket too, but he was able to avoid it and make a play. These days he never seems able to avoid it.
  23. Well collaros has sucked at the quick game forever so not hopeful if it's not a run game.
  24. At this point they need to establish a run game. Collaros ain't gonna pass his way out of trouble now. Need a run game to lean on for now.
