I don't know enough about judges who would be qualified for the position, but what I would like to see is the partisan bullshit cut out and these senators and congressmen doing their jobs in the best interests of the country and voters even if it's not in the best interest of their party.

They just want to stack the bench with hard line right wingers while they can, they're not even being subtle about it. It's the end game for Republicans because then it doesn't matter who is in the white house they can sti impose their regressive social standards on the country.

Republican controlled Senate wouldn't even give him a hearing or a vote simply because it was an Obama nominee. Now they got a real **** head nominee and from the get go have been avoiding proper vetting and ignoring red flags just to ram him through because he's hard line right enough. There is no olive branch from Republicans. Democrats try and compromise but the Republicans lie cheat and steal their way to the top. The whole party is rotten to the core and there is no working with them.

Flanders is good and harris is the starter with lafrance the ratio friendly in game replacement. How many running backs do you think a team needs? If we didn't go canadian at the position you'd see more around.

I say it comes down to the front 7. Wrap him up and don't let him escape and extend plays you're good. That's what killed em in game 1.

In the states. Look around the league, do you see any team hurting for that position? It's because there are tons of talented guys coming out of us colleges.

Not to mention it should be the absolute easiest position to find a player at from the plethora of them in the states. Just say no to giving up much of anything for runningbacks.

We beat em in Edmonton last fall, why don't we do it again this year? Honestly when I look around the CFL I don't see any team that the Bombers can't beat if they are playing well. Now people are down on them right now because they haven't been playing well, but this weekends game was a step in the right direction regardless of who they were playing, so let's just let the rest of the season play out why not? People act like Edmonton is this monumental challenge but they're only 1 win better than us right now for all the problems Winnipeg has had. Just take care of the ball and move it a bit on offense and see what happens. There's a whole lot of meh teams in the CFL this year, think they call it parity, all it takes is a hot streak, and as the Riders have shown you don't even have to be good to get a hot streak!

I said it earlier in the week, some people have flipped to preferring to see Nichols and OShea fail rather than seeing the bombers win. Nichols had a solid game but unless he was perfection out there it's not enough for some.

Ottawa is an up and down team game to game and Edmonton I find gets a tad over rated. They rely on big plays too much to really be a consistent dominant team.

I think that quote likely means more about the improvement in other positions as canadians, but yes Wolitarsky is a beaut, even if he is a phony canadian and I think peterman can be another good one. Given how shitty some of the American receivers are I'd love to see simonise get more chances too.

What other teams feature canadian receivers that regularly get targeted? Calgary I guess but anyone else? Seems like most other teams lean heavily on their Americans.

Watching that game how can people really pin it all on Nichols when it's plain as ******* day that lapo calls the worst game ever. Yeah he can draw up a good looking offence but the man has no sense of how to call a game.

Thompkins is a good receiver but seems under used in this offence. He can probably pretty easily be the teams best receiver. Between he and dressler anyway.
