Riders @ TiCats: 2019 Kickoff
Riders DL was underwhelming. Too much hype for Johnson. Again, good player but as soon as the Riders sign someone in free agency they're just the best thing since sliced bread... hardly. Jefferson won the Riders some games on his own by making plays. Johnson is not going to make those same kind of big plays so their D is automatically weaker. I just see that team falling hard this year. Jones voodoo on defense is what dragged them along, but that's gone.

I suspect if Nelson was healthy he'd be starting.

Riders @ TiCats: 2019 Kickoff
That is the thing that annoyed me most about all the "Powell will carry the Riders" talk. Ottawa had a pretty good OL in my view while Powell was there, I don't see the Riders OL being of the same calibre so he's going to have to earn his yards harder than he has in the past. Plus the passing attack in Ottawa was more of a focus too so that's just more hard running Powell is going to have to endure. He is a good runningback no questions there, but the situation in Saskatchewan this year makes it harder on a back than the one in Ottawa the past few years.

Reilly will do what he always does, run around avoiding tackles and heave the ball downfield.

I am ok with masoli being trash. Guy should never be mentioned among the top QBs.
-
Riders @ TiCats: 2019 Kickoff
Masoli just has the worst throwing mechanics going.

Kevin Glenn can unretire

funny how all the Rider fans were talking up Fajardo after the preseason. Guy made a couple plays with his legs but he is a brutal passer.

Riders @ TiCats: 2019 Kickoff
Yeah as much as I hate the Riders that play has no place in the league. We'd be livid if someone did that to Nichols.

Riders @ TiCats: 2019 Kickoff
Simoni Lawrence being a piece of **** givng him the old head shot as Collaros was sliding after a rush.

Riders @ TiCats: 2019 Kickoff
absolutely was intentional. He knows who the other QB is, he took that shot. Total shithead move.

Ike Charlton had himself a game in the Grey Cup that year, shame about the turnovers on offense that sewered everything.

so the same except for the massive difference in scoring and turning the ball over... I think you need to re-evaluate what you want out of your quarterback. Let's not forget that Streveller got a lot of reps, especially in the red zone, while NIchols was playing? Which will lower a guys overall numbers. Collaros was a steaming bag of ****, Nichols was also poor compared to the standard he set, but still clearly better than Collaros.

2007 grey cup was probably Ian Logan no?

So you wanna make it back to back days talking out your ass? You gotta go back years to find a time Collaros was worth anything, and it certainly hasn't ever been in Saskatchewan. I anxiously await these so called hard facts.
-
Kevin Glenn Retires
Well actually Nichols is quite a lot better than Collaros. But go ahead, let me see your argument, it's been a long day and I could use a laugh.
-
Kevin Glenn Retires
Yeah well Nichols is basically just a younger Glenn at this point so what's your point?
-
Kevin Glenn Retires
you really don't understand how this sort of thing works do you? So why comment?
-
Kevin Glenn Retires
Yeah except I didn't say Glenn was better than Bridge, I said better than Collaros, which is probably still true. Or do you buy the crap about him being better this year? Guy is into full on Buck Pierce territory, except in the case of Pierce I think the spirit was still willing while the flesh was weak, Collaros seems much more broken mentally too.
