Honestly I don't care which of Wilson or dolegala they had pegged as #2, they should have been playing after zachs injury. We don't know which was the right choice, neither got the chance.

Bunch of people here complaining about the playcalling last night and I for one am disgusted by the effort our receivers put in... so we think vaj would have done more? He got smoked by a riders defense that collaros made look stupid.

They tried to go to Ford, it didn't do much for them. He's a long way out from being a starting qb.

That only applies to vaj and not collaros? Don't get me wrong I'd have moved on from collaros last season and gone with brown... but vaj ain't done anything to make me think he'd do any more than collaros has here.

Honestly it's a lot ******* better losing because you got your ass kicked than itnis losing a close game. There's no what if this, what if that, they sucked and need to be better bottom line.

Officials were bad, lots of blatant holding not called but that's to be expected in the cfl and the random command centre calling down on a nothing play... But all of that said, make some plays and the Officials don't matter.

Guy with collaros experience needs to know not to throw a ball in that situation, especially when his hand is messed up. Good play by the db? Sure but also a ball that shouldn't have been thrown. That's football though. You don't make every play, but you gotta make enough at key times. Rookie qb goes in yeah don't expect high percentage passing but if he hits you with a potential score you gotta reel it in.

It's not a bit of both, collaros is told to read the field and throw the ball to the open guy... he correctly saw Wilson was open deep the throw just ******* sucked. So with a glove on he should have forced a short throw just because? He tried a short throw and got picked on that too.

And yet Wilson threw a pass that wheatfall should have caught for a touchdown.

did he call it or did Collaros see the play as available and threw it? Cause the play was there if the ball is thrown accurately.

let's give some props to Pokey Wilson too. in a situation where he's #3 or 4 that's a dangerous weapon to have to deal with. Everyone is down after last night, understandable but there's a lot to like going forward and now it's up to Walters to make some smart moves in the offseason and this team can continue to roll.

They gave that team every chance in the world to win last night, but you do need the offence to hold onto the ball too and score some points. i think he got jobbed on that too, however if Lawler puts in some effort it's not even a question. and was it the difference? no not in the big picture but it would have been an early first down and some good plays in a game where they struggled to get going offensively. It was a symptom of the entire offense. Players not being mentall sharp. For a guy like Lawler who as you say is one of the best in the league, and paid like it to boot he has to be better. When you're at that level you don't get to make excuses. Milt went out in grey cups and made catches with guys draped all over him all the time. The argos receivers went out and made plays in traffic. Too many excuses for guys who don't need them. what do you do when Brady gets 5 yards on first down and the reciever drops the pass that would have been a first and you're off the field? that's not a play call problem.

You really do make a ton of excuses for guys you like... wasn't a poor throw or triple coverage when Lawler stepped out of bounds early on... now credit to him he was wide open in the endzone when Wilson under threw the ball but still. Lawler wasn't good enough and it's ok to say that. We can say he sucked while still believing he's a very good player. Too much drama here. Offense sucked last night. Didn't make the plays they had opportunities to make. It happens. Make appropriate changes in the offseason and carry on.
