  1. it's quite clearly saying that they were though if you are saying BC should be higher.
  2. If you don't even follow the CFL why bother posting here?
  3. Hebert has always been a piece of ****. Didn't he have some issues with knocking is girlfriend around too? Garbage humans are garbage humans. They don't often change.
  4. That's a big part of it for sure, but it's also a city that is addicted to work in an unhealthy way. There's just this expectation that you work all the bloody time, too few people actually stop to enjoy themselves and their lives.
  5. Part of the problem with Calgary is that there is absolutely no sense of community, Flames have shitty support too and if not for everyone throwing the brand new jersey over their suit when the work day is done cause they gotta use the free tickets they were given by one company or the other the dome would be half empty for them every night too.
  6. You just don't understand how brilliant the plan is. Jones is the most stable genius going, he's proven he's the best. Don Matthews come again to save Canada's Team.
  7. I absolutely love the starting front 7, man oh man that's a good group, and how long has it been since we've rolled out a linebacking corps that looks like that? Bighill is such a revelation for this team.
  8. How do you build a roster where at the first hint of an injury you're swapping guys from O to D? How in gods name is that a plan? And not just one guy, but a bunch of guys... it's stupidity.
  9. At this point I think we can safely say that Harris is a fair weather qb and with shitty weather last night surprise surprise he didn't do well. Learned a bit too much from Burris I guess.
  10. It's a neat segment but man could both of those guys use some polishing. Love the candid way Harris talks but you can tell he's not a natural on the mic yet. Hopefully it keeps progressing cause it's a really cool idea.
  11. you know what, if this team winds up in a situation where both Nichols and Streveler are too good and both need to play and earn money I'll call it a good problem to have.
  12. See and I think a pissed off Harris is a far more dangerous player. I don't see a problem with it. He didn't like a hit and it's got him fired up, let him use that energy.
  13. We aren't ranking careers though, only what they've done so far this season, and Ray for example was terrible this season and Streveler hasn't. Streveler could bust hard from here on out and Ray will get into the HOF no questions asked, but through 2 weeks of the regular season Streveler has been the better qb. and jennings? he did less against montreal than Streveler did so why is he ahead?
  14. Every team needs a whipping boy for the fans to get after and the rest of the defense people quite like.
  15. that's spoken with the benefit of hindsight. There was no reason he shouldn't have kept playing, it's just a damned shame that this happened to him. It's a cruel sport sometimes. Anyway if that is indeed a career for Ray he was one of the good ones. Class act and a damned good player, ice water in his veins and probably single handedly prevented Milt and Khari and that group from getting a cup.
  16. I thought I saw a tweet saying that the record was 9 games held by 2 players and that Masoli had a chance to tie that record, but I really didn't pay a lot of attention so I could be mistaken.
  17. Not ready to buy into a team that has been in the upper echelon the last few seasons? That went toe to toe with the pre-season favourites when starting a raw rookie in his first game at qb in a mess of a delay situation and then curb stomped their next opponent? Come on, this team is clearly in the upper teir of CFL teams based on their recent body of work. Doesn't mean they win every game but it does mean that they have a chance to win every game. This is a good team full of good people who are ridiculously easy to cheer for. Lots of teams you have to over look shitty characters but not on this team. It's a team that puts in an honest effort and really exemplifies the ideals of team work. I haven't heard one guy complain about their stats, everyone just wants to win and that will carry a team a long way. The team is all that matters and right now it appears that this team is as tight as any in the league.
  18. Yeah let's go with Derel Walker Normally you go with someone playing Montreal or Saskatchewan but with those teams playing each other do you trust either offense to get the job done?
  19. I am not sure what is more petty... wanting Durant to have to sit at home retired or making him play for the Riders... Help my spiteful self decide.
  20. Apathy in the states is a big thing because with a right wing party and a super right wing party a lot of people have the mentality that everyone is the same, but if people are going out and voting trying to change that then it means that people want change and change is bad for republicans, very bad because change never includes sticking with the corrupt as all hell stuck in the 1950s party. Change always means a more progressive government.
  21. The best thing this team does is that no one plays any games. Guys generally know where they stand within the organization and there are no wild mood swings that result in out of nowhere firings. The stability is something this team has sorely been lacking for such a long long time.
  22. To me it is more of an indication that people are motivated to vote for a change in the status quo and that should ******* terrify the Republicans. The most terrifying thing for wannabe dictators is a motivated voting base.
  23. You hang onto that barely getting by that awful Als team at home if it makes you feel better about things.
  24. Ray can't run, Willy can't run, Harris can't run, Mitchell can't run, Collaros used to be able to run but he's damaged now and turtles when he feels pressure... Jennings can run but seems more interested in just trying to throw it as far downfield as possible, Reilly could and does run, but again, he mostly just runs to get himself time to find one of his play makers on a pass. It's that whole mentality in the CFL that has changed. Guys are discouraged from running rather than being unable to.
