  1. You know what really stood out to me, on the touchdown to Wolitarsky he gave the db a little fake like he was getting the ball out quick and made the guy bite leaving a wide open Wolitarsky in the endzone. That's good stuff right there and makes me think this Streveler kid knows how to play the position.
  2. God what a season for Alex Ross eh? Guy has an opportunity to be a week one starter but loses out then gets hurt on the one play he actually gets to run which was a clusterfuck of a play to start with. Some guys must be just cursed.
  3. Based on how the refs called it when it was the Edmonton offensive line no, holding is totally legal.
  4. Oh sure, great play by him, never questioned that, but you can still make a better play than that. I'm not trying to start a witch hunt here or anything, Wolitarsky had a good game too. Just pointing out that the first INT wasn't that big a deal for the qb.
  5. It was Wolitarsky and Sherritt involved in the first INT. I actually to think Sherritt took it away while they were going down, but man you can not let the linebacker come in and just take the ball from you. Gotta hold onto that for your life.
  6. You know what I put that first INT on the receiver not Streveler. The receiver had his hands on it and let the linebacker take it away from him. Gotta be stronger than that and either catch it or at least don't let the linebacker take it away. To me Streveler was better than the numbers might indicate when taking everything into consideration.
  7. Lapo vs a bend don't break defense is pretty much a straight up win. Lapo wants to methodically work the ball down the field at the best of times.
  8. Properly known as the Westermen.
  9. The reality is that the D looks a lot better than last year. Yeah they gave up a lot of yards but the catches were at least contested and the run D was much more stout. The line backers looked amazing. Edmonton receivers just made a pile of great catches are they are known to do.
  10. If losing to the team everyone says is the best team going on a last minute field goal when you have a 23 year old qb in his first start is the worst thing to happen then it should be a good year.
  11. And yet we could have beat Reilly last night with a few things changing on O or special teams. This game was not as bad as some make it seem.
  12. What an ugly game. Both teams were hot garbage, but Toronto was especially useless. Even Ritchie Hall would say that zone defense that Toronto was running was super soft. 10 ply bud.
  13. No need to over react to anything. Close game that could have gone the other way but Reilly and the esks receivers did what they do. Reilly tosses up bombs and the receivers make great catches for him. What makes that team a challenge. They can do nothing and all of a sudden make one play that changes things.
  14. Reilly has made a career of escaping sacks when he should be down without issue. I won't get on the defensive line too much because that's what makes Reilly the qb he is, that ability to escape situations.
  15. And most importantly I just don't see their Canadian depth improving, if anything it appears to be getting worse. That team needs an awful lot to go absolutely perfect to match what they did last season.
  16. Fort Hew! It's an early start to the season and it STILL feels like forever getting here.
  17. The democrats don't have a lot of options to do much, the fascinating part to me is watching the Republican party itself allow Trump to erode their countries core principles. Surely to god there are people in that party that care more about their country and serving the people than serving themselves and their party... but all evidence points to the contrary.
  18. Glenn right now is a better qb than Collaros and I think that their OL has actually gotten worse. I'll give em credit for having what appears to be a solid group of receivers, but the rest of the offense? not as good as last season. Glenn turned in a real good performance for them last year that I just don't see Collaros matching. Let's not forget the drop off at MLB going from Muamba to Hurl, we all saw here what that does for a team. Chris Jones coaching a team and only coaching a team? Yeah I'd buy that he could turn something around, Chris Jones as a GM though? not very good. Kind of similar to MIke Kelly actually. If Kelly had focused on only coaching his reputation might not be in the sewer like it is today.
  19. How awesome Mike Reilly is, duhh. TSN can't deviate from the script.
  20. I am convinced that the republican party is just trying to see how far they go before there is any kind of backlash against them. Really sad they can get this far and there is no end in sight.
  21. I think people are really selling BC short. They will be in there with the rest of the west. Honestly the only Western team that I look at having major flaws is Saskatchewan. I will be absolutely shocked if they're not bringing up the rear in the CFL west.
  22. But it's the bombers that need to worry about there season. People need to stop pretending collaros is the guy he was 3 years ago.
  23. Well they can't say much cause they got their own first overall bust to worry about.
  24. I just don't see how they can point out flaws with the riders and still put them above Winnipeg. We have a better and deeper team and yeah I'll put our unknown qbs in a good situation on par with their qbs in a **** show situation
