Yeah but being punched in the face is better than being kicked in the nuts... I haven't seen wonder woman yet but it strikes me that most of the praise for that movie stems from the fact that it wasn't a steaming pile like the two aforementioned movies. Damning with faint praise if you ask me. I think people really want to like these movies because they feature popular characters. I dunno I'll watch eventually and judge for myself but I really have no high hopes. I thought before watching Suicide Squad well it's no way it can be as bad as people say, in fact some people are defending it... nope worse than cancer, so I don't trust these people to put out anything half assed decent.

Or maybe the coaches feel the need to have all the rotations because they don't feel they have the players required. As with most things it'll be a little from column A and a little from column B. Guys like Randle and Heath and Leggett never come off the field, why? because they're too good, if they had guys who were too good to take off there would be a lot less rotations.

Yeah how about something credible? Like show me something from one of the winnipeg guys, even someone like Paul Friesen who has any kind of insight from the management of the team. Just because people speculated that MOS might be on the hot seat does not in any way shape or form imply that he was a game or two away from being fired. Simple facts are when a coach is losing the chair he is in gets warm, but that is a far cry from a couple games from being canned.

There has been a ton of talk all season long about Bond possibly trying the NFL and Kyle Walters didn't draft all those offensive lineman rather than other positions to keep playing 3 americans in that position. The fact that with Bond out the performance of the line didn't dip just makes it that much more likely to happen.

Our team is run by good human beings and not a bunch of self serving assholes, if Lapo wants to interview for a head coach position they'll let him, the question comes down to whether or not Lapolice wants to. He likes being in Winnipeg and he he's gonna be a spot picker when he tried the HC thing again.

Except they really haven't got a lot of cups to show for all the seasons of being first in the league... They got 2014, they got 2008 after they cleaned out their own gong show. So really judging by the team everyone loves to hold up as the best thing going we have 10 years to get 2 cups with multiple seasons of playoffs. Plenty of times Calgary was one and done in the playoffs as well. Can think of a bunch of west final games they pissed away at home. Did that make them not a contender? Simple fact is that all season long Winnipeg was one of the best teams in the league, that makes them a contender, that they lost a single elimination game doesn't change that. I think everyone agreed that all of Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary were contenders for the cup. Had Winnipeg won last weekend would people sit here and say Edmonton was never a contender? I somehow doubt that.

If those two are better than Neufeld you can easily trade the guy or just cut him if there's no takers (spoiler alert, someone will always take a NI OL). having depth is never a bad thing.

I mean really Edmonton beat the Bombers once this year, it just happened to be in the only game that mattered, but the thing about football is that it's a harsh mistress, lose one game in the playoffs your done no matter what else you did last season. Let me ask you this, is Calgary not a contender cause they've lost a bunch of playoff games when they had such good records in the regular season?

no you're wrong. That game wasn't the blow out some are making it seem. It, like most games hinged on a few key plays. I don't know how you can say this team couldn't secure a home playoff game, they can only beat the team in front of them and I do believe that even with BLM they could have taken Calgary. BLM ain't been anything special this year, especially late in the year. We have to stop downplaying what we have here. Some of you though expect perfection every week from the team and that never happens to any team. Too high when they win and too low when they lose.

Hey Hurl is a good solid special teams player, I'd take him back on this team no questions asked. Just rather he not start.

Sounds to me like it wasn't a bend but don't break defense, sounds like it was pretty aggressive but the players got beat too many times.

All I know is Harris was criminally under used in the redzone and I am going to go ahead and put that on the OC rather than the qb. Nichols doesn't come across as a glory hog to me wanting to pass all the TDs in.
