Edmonton Eski-dolts @ Regina Ridirts: Who Do We Want?

I maintain that part of the reason the Bombers generate as many turnovers as they do is because opponents get impatient and don't take the dink and dunk stuff that is there. -
Eskis @ Bombers: Playoffs Are Here / Raise Expectations
17to85 replied to USABomberfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Let Edmonton talk about how great they are, let the media talk about how great Edmonton is, I hope the Esks to a man believe that they're just the flat out better team. Let em get nice and fat and sassy and when Winnipeg shows up with the work boots on they can put them in their place. -
O'Shea did what he did with Matt Nichols as his qb, now I love what Nichols has brought to this team, but come on, when comparing him to Reilly or Ray or Mitchell?
-
Surprised you didn't put June Jones on that list ahead of O'Shea too. Anything to downplay the Bombers and hype up everyone else.
-
I am just saying it's pretty ******* easy to come up with a good offense when you have that collection of players, and we all used to sit around ourbombers at the time and ***** about Lapolice's play calling and wish for Khari Jones to call plays in the huddle instead, so not like everyone was wowed by it back then either. Hell he was fired from that position.
-
I dunno, I think Trestman deserves some props for what he did in Toronto this year as well. Oh well, the Bombers are always going to be criminally under rated around the rest of the country.
-
Yeah that's true about Willy, time blends together and I just assumed Lapo had been here longer. Still I think these questions need to be asked about Lapolice. Never really developed a qb, guys who have looked good in his offense are few and far between... methinks he is over rated as an offensive guru.

COTY is based on reputation unless one team has a remarkable rags to riches story.

How is one player finding the footing and the other not being able to anything but outplaying him? Get your head out of your ass man. -

Which should say something about how our defense was actually playing. Make no mistake, they were not happy with their previous 2 outings and wanted to make a statement. -

If he was totally healthy I bet BLM woulda played that game. DIckenson was not a happy camper at the prospect of going into the playoffs on a 3 game skid, I am certain the only reason BLM didn't play is cause they wanted to give his shoulder the extra rest. -

BLM has had a messed up shoulder since the summer at very least. Guy has not been his usual self this year and you can see it when you watch. He's playing through it but the guy is hurting. -

All that you say about the Stamps qbs you can say about the bombers qbs. They wouldn't have been in there if the game really mattered. We went in with a game plan on offense to not **** things up, mission accomplished. The Stamps didn't do the same. Why do people try and downplay what transpired in the game? It was backup qbs vs. backup qbs and the rest of our team beat the rest of their team. -
That's just mean.

Harris averaged 8.5 per carry rushing and also had 5.6 yards per catch, Messam averaged 2.5 per carry and then caught 3 passes for 0 yards... yeah I'm going to say that Harris outplayed Messam all ******* game long. -
Let them scheme all they like, I have confidence in both players to straight up beat their opponents.
